I think I am going to go with offset mount. Folks be mindful of the wires feeding the nav light when drilling!
Finally finished this off... I can't wait to have hot food on the boat! Thanks @Bruce! IMG_2357.JPGIMG_2358.PNG

I’m looking at Phender Pro mounts from Big Sky Products for fenders, rod holders and a RAM grill mount (bow).

I’ve talked to them about 1/2” retro fit mounts with logo (would be cool to get Jet Boaters logo).

1/2” fits fender/dock mount and RAM. I think I’ll do 3 per side top side and could mount grill front/mid/rear as needed.

I know a few have these. Anyone have the RAM mount?

Somewhat late to the party post, but since these threads have an beneficial afterlife x4 all the posts about the bow location. Also the “Filet Table” as the base for a small grill (WeberQ or Coleman) and standard fishing rod holder/mounts give you some great versatility when using the boat for fishing.

When grilling for guests the party on these boats is typically at the stern (swim deck, boat re-entry). I don’t like cooking with a bunch activity around me ... hot grill, an audience with advice ;-), so the bow location is safer and “happy place” to prep and cook. Also when I plate the meals I just bring it to the table amidship, so it’s easy delivering the finished product to the group that is seated and waiting at the table.

I've had my grill set up on the back deck since I bought my boat new in 2015. It has been used lots. My kids are teenagers, so if you have younger kids, maybe my experience doesn't apply to you. I enjoy using my grill on the back deck because that's where we all hang out. It's nice to sit, socialize, and grill all at the same time. Another thought if you have younger ones that need supervising, it's easier to supervise from the back of the boat where you are less removed from the action. When it comes time to serve the food, I don't have to get up; I just pass it out from the grill... and have a sip of beer.
Any spills get washed away, and I don't have to worry about damaging my seats.

@Peter Alonso, the
Magma Power Grip LeveLock Double Locking Rod Holder Mount
bolts directly to the bottom of the Magma grill, but its expanding shaft (the part that attaches to the boat) is designed to insert/lock into a rod holder. The standard rod holder has a smaller diameter than the inner diameter of the table leg (stanchion), so the Power Grip doesn't expand enough to grip the inside of the table leg. It's an easy mod to fix this. Just take a 6" long piece of 2" dia ABS pipe (it's the "plastic" stuff that you use as drain pipe for household plumbing) and you can find it at any hardware store. Use a bit of silicone to install the ABS sleeve into the inside of the table leg. This will enable the Power Grip to hold onto the table leg. The nice thing is that this mod does not impact the table leg's ability to still work with the table as the table uses the outer portion of the leg's diameter for mounting. The LevelLock function is great as it enables you to fold/collapse the mount for storage without having to remove it from the bottom of the grill, and it also allows you to adjust the tilt (it swivels on a locking ball) so that your grill is always level.
You can probably find it cheaper at other places, but here's the mount that I used:
