    new 195s owner rookie questions

i think the Y valve is something different... the "T" fitting was a same part replacement. My motor never over heated, just spewed some water in the hull which the bilge pump took care of

Fortress FX-7 Fits! (barely) 2020+ hull

I might do the Dremel method. I have a padding underneath so not worried about impact. If it held a 13lb box anchor 3 seasons, it can handle a 4lb anchor 😆 and I may know the person if you are referring to 2017 trip 😆

Fortress FX-7 Fits! (barely) 2020+ hull

I couldn't find any information from previous search so I figured I'd post some pictures. I did not modify the anchor nor the anchor locker at all. and this is less than 1/3rd of the baby box anchor I have used in the past. (13lbs vs 4lbs)

    new 195s owner rookie questions

I was chasing a leak for a while. the dealer said it was my trim tabs, then I was getting more water in the following season, and they finally found that the valve was leaking and replaced. have not had a chance to run it yet but in the meantime, close the drain on the ski locker. Monitor your...

    2023 AR195 Bilge Pump Operation

Bilge is Automatic. Even if the dash switch is off, when there is water in the bilge, it will run. at least thats how it is on my boat

    Rusty spark plugs

Definitely appreciate the concern and I'll be leaving it at the dealership once the season is over have them go over it. Last weekend with the new plugs.

    Rusty spark plugs

a leak in the engine bay and moisture in the exhaust water box. thats my conclusion
  11. blacksapphirez

    Rusty spark plugs

the oil is absolutely clean. no leak inside. excess moisture remaining from the waterbox "MAY" be the culprit. bc it still runs fine too

    Rusty spark plugs

usually every week/every other week... but this was over 2 seasons too so, i will try to "dry" out my water box from now on

    Rusty spark plugs

thats actually pretty good theory... I do rinse the motor and do not run for extended period of time, (afraid of overheating) but I should run it a few times before storing so the moisture is "gone"

    salt water people

wouldn't say submerged...because it hasn't been. I had it since 10hrs. Like i said, it leaks(from somewhere) and bilge runs by itself from time to time...the water was definitely in the bilge and I boat 90% in salt/brackish water so yeah.

going to a dealer in a month... hopefully they will replace all cooling hoses

    salt water people

oh it definintely is... my bilge runs when i'm under way. I suspect one of the hoses and or clamp is compromised and leaking under pressure

    salt water people

thanks I put on anti corrosion spray one time but didn't keep up with it. once i get the dealer to replace everything (high hopes...) i'll need to start doing it

    salt water people

Actually exhaust clamp doesn't look that bad under the swim platform(although still little rusted) I told the dealer about a "leak" and they blamed on my trim tabs...so I sealed them and it still lets water in. i believe one of the hose and or the clamp has gone bad and spraying water when...
