2018 Bimini June trip (June 24th - June 30th)

We may have 2 more skis joining us
I think they are on the fence. They have never made the crossing yet and I like to give the worst case scenarios up front.....
But today I will throw in the amazing videos and photos to show just how worth it it is! ;)

How many are taking into consideration the possibility of leaving a day early ?

Due to weather or the need for conch salad....
(Hand in the air)

We are. Plan is to head down to Ft Lauderdale Saturday morning, even if to just hang out there for an additional day. There will be 2 additional 24' center consoles in our group. Hell we could leave Saturday morning if necessary...

I plan to be in or near the Ft Lauderdale area Friday night so I'm open to a Saturday, Sunday or Monday crossing. I'm planing to cross with the group but already kind of had set in my head I would likely just cross on the best forecasted day of the three days unless they are just calling for crappy weather in Bimini for a few days or something I would rather spend bad weather days state side then cross early and be stuck in a condo in Bimini Saturday and Sunday because the weather stinks.

Very much me. I expect to be full crew onsite ft laud sat 2pm. I havent mathed out a solution for the porton that is flying over should this occur. Under ideal condition no worries

I’m with robert on thinkin as far as conditions.

This is a tough one. My son wants to take the waverunner over. He needs to convince the matriarch Combined with we expect to sell it this year so want to keep it shiny shiny. We’ll see what the next minth has to offer. We have big deal things happening thru late march ...then can hyper focus on this trip

We are currently planning to be there early Sunday morning, but my schedule is free enough that if I had to leave a day or two sooner, it's not a problem. I, too, agree with @robert843 that if we had to spend an extra day or two state side due to weather, it wouldn't be the end of the world either.

I'll be there when my peeps are ready to cross. Leave a week early and I'm good. I'm getting impatient with winter at this point.

I bet @chris24 buys it and asks Mrs. Chris24 to take it from Florida to Bimini ;)

I don't think it is for real... unfortunately.
Looks too good, doesn't it?

I agree as condition looks to good. I’ve seen a YouTube video of one making the crossing but always wanted to see one doing it in person.

Agree when I do not see registration numbers it usually is one of the first signs it may not be legit.
