Edith's is on the map.

There is no dock. There is no place to sit. We picked up Pizza by boat last year. Idled into very shallow water with lots of underwater debris to get it.

The Thirsty Turtle is walking distance NE of BS, has new management, excellent pizza, AC and seating.

is it family friendly?

I will take my kids.

There was an incident with adult content at the Thirsty Turtle last year. It has new management and new staff this year.

This is my new top priority on any further Bimini trips today was an incredible experience new favorite place in the Bimini area

What was the milage count/hours on that please? How’d weather treat ya?

They now have outdoor covered seating. We eat there Monday

26 miles from the sands weather was good I was running between 42-47 mph most of the way this morning the return was a little rougher ran between 30-35 coming back.

What was under the water? Any decent snorkeling?

The entire island is a coral island you can snorkel the entire thing it would be a lot though. The island presents challenges being a coral island there is no beach so we found the flattest spot we could and ancorhed about 20 feet from the shore and had to swim to the island as the water around the island seems to be 8-10 foot all the way to the edge. That said we did get everyone on the island including the kids. The veiw from the top of the lighthouse was incredible but once again not easy access of the 11 adults with us only 3 made the climb up and no kids did but it’s worth effort. This trip requires hard soled water shoes and gloves I would say.

@Sbrown how is 1A? We have that unit reserved for the July trip. Reading about all the issues. Not looking forward to a miserable experience while in paradise :)
It's fine. No problems. Not a 5 star resort and it's not perfect, but it's definitely good enough. There is a dishwasher, but you need to bring detergent. The knives are dull as shit, so either bring a sharpener or your own good sharp knife. There are no pitchers, either. We made O.J. in a cookie jar. May want to bring camp chairs for the deck or patio. Other than those minor things, everything has been great.

Ok sounds good
They will set a big table for us in the back room
I will try and call them in the AM

Anybody have any plans for tomorrow during the day?
