2018 GutBusters

227.6

For kicks and giggles, I looked back and I was a little over 235 at the beginning of the 2016 Gut Busters challenge and ended at 224.

That's awesome @Volffas ! I'm fairly positive I'm exactly the same, or really, really close. Which is still up ~20lbs from where I ended. Making strides to make long term changes this time.

I’m definitely 20 pounds heavier than I was a year ago, hence me joining in!

I was down 3 lbs tuesday, back up 1 wednesday, and a hair over my starting weight today. Why am I not drinking beer?

Stay focused! Go walk around the block. Throw down some miles and you'll see the scale go the right direction

Edit: you've already paid your money. Sit back and drink a beer, you'll be fine

AAAANNNNNNDDDD.........I'm off the wagon already.....Had pizza and beer for dinner. Didn't ride the bike this morning either.

Making it easy for you guys to take my money!

Weekdays it’s easy for me to stay focused. This weekend will be a good test how committed I am. I’m down 5 lbs since Monday

I haven't weighed since Sunday. I'm a little afraid, I haven't made the changes I've needed to yet. I'll be coming from behind.

Whens the next official Weigh-In due?

I had pizza too, but I shoveled for almost two hours. Hoping that works itself out, lol.

I know from years of weight watchers, that checking my weight frequently can see the scale readings all over the place. I weighed last night just before bed, after a three day trip. I was down 6.8 pounds but we will see what it is at the one week mark Monday morning. I’ve been pretty diligent this week except for dinner in Albuquerque, go figure, who can pass on “Christmas” sauces on enchiladas?

Come on guys! Protein and increased heart rate...... git-r-dun!

So far so good. Let's see some numbers guys!

335.6 - same as last week. Got off to a rough start, but feel real good about the last 2 days. Off to pack my lunch and a couple healthy snacks for today!

Crap, forgot to weigh this morning......I'll be sure to get it tonight.

I was 236.8 at weigh in, at 229.4 today, so far so good!
Edit:
Here’s the scale pic. I think I was the only one that didn’t post it and seems stupid now. I’ll add the starting scale pic to my join post.

I have no idea how this happened. But I'll take it.

bleh. I'm up 0.6. lol. I typically do the no-carb thing though, which obviously never lasts because I can't maintain it. Making *forever* healthier choices this time is the plan, and just haven't instituted portion control yet I guess. Hopping on the elliptical virtually everyday as well. I'm sure I'll get results soon enough!

I've got the spreadsheet and formulas all setup. As soon as we get your numbers, I can post the first week's status report.

I've had a Fitbit ChargeHR for a couple years, but haven't worn it in about a year. I got it dusted off last week and started resetting up the app over the weekend. I've been using the Fitbit (iPhone) app since Sunday to log my food intake. I used to use MyFitnessPal (a lot), but all the darn advertisements finally drove me away from it. The food database isn't as complete as MyFitnessPal, of course, but the app has really come along way since I got the watch/device for Christmas of '15.

Anybody else have any favorite logging apps, that will sync data from a Fitbit device, as well?
