2021 Yamaha boats - Showing up at dealerships...

My dealer got in 2 SX190 and a 212. Still waiting on ar190s

they seem to get boats first in FL

So I have been a little frustrated with my dealer in Ohio due to lack of info around the new 2021’s , or even what order I am in for the preorders, which I preorder an AR190 back in early July. All they can tell me is I would see it in early to mid August. Now it is mid August and still no more information other than they will let me know when I can pick up my boat.... I decided to call Yamaha directly to see if I can get any information from them. What Yamaha told me was that they can‘t answer when I would see my boat or when the dealership would see their orders which was no surprise to me. However, they did say boats will be arriving between now and mid October and maybe my dealer will see it before the end of August but the person I talked to couldn’t answer that either. Thought I would share this as some others maybe waiting longer than expected also.

@ambandit Call Ryan Zamler, Wonderland Marine West, he is my salesman. Very straight shooter. It South Eastern Michigan, not sure if too far. If you are looking for a new dealer. (844) 248-8489 They have received 19's and 21' 2021's that they have delivered already. I personally have walked through a 2021 212s on their lot the day it came in. Have a picture in another thread. I do know that they have some more in transit. Not sure what or when, but he seems to be honest and spot on. If you do call him, tell him Charles M. referred you.

That blue SX210 is beautiful, love the color. However, it's really stupid to have a headrest place in front of the passenger seat on that boat. That is applicable on the "J" seating configuration but looks completely out of place here. It should be a flat storage area. C'mon Yamaha. Anyone else can see this? Looks like almost an assembly mistake for me.

I have a 255XD on order at Cycle Springs but my salesman doesn’t know exactly when they will be arriving either. Im not sure if they’re still have supply chain issues or if their factories are back to operating at full steam.

So my dealer is also mostly in the dark, but had been told they were waiting on owners manuals, remotes, other final checklist owner package stuff and that was why shipping was held. He said that they were just told that they are now complete, and will now be invoiced and shipped shortly.

It does make sense they may have been short on some items for full completion at this early stage so let's hope it's not BS. This is supposedly the first time they have actually gotten any info from yamaha in the last month

what model is this for?

From what I have been told by a reliable inside source, 25' footers are not being produced yet. Only 19' 21' and 27'. 25' footers are due in a couple of months for shipping. Hopefully this is not the case.

I think there is a lot of information flying around. My dealer is still saying end of the month for the 25 footers. But will know more by the end of the week.

it would be disappointing for Yamaha to announce a whole new line of boats only to not have them available for months.

Well I do hope they squeeze one out for you by then.

My dealer was only promised two 195s and a 210 I believe but although it's a premier inland NW lake, it's still just Idaho. Not the coast...

if anyone sees a dealer with a 27 being delivered or hears of dealers getting them please post it up. thanks

Not really sure the dealers are that in the dark, or just professing they are to keep people in the game. Remember a lot of the dealers have been selling Yamaha's for decades so they know people in the Org, and in different divisions and departments. Information is always available. It just doesn't quite filter down to the customers at times.

Let's be honest, Sell someone the hope of something you may be getting or telling a prospect that you won't see them for months and watch the deposits and businesses dry up. Not saying everyone would be dishonest but with all the gouging and non-refundable deposit garbage and stuff going on, it is tough not think so.

I also have a theory, the more I hear about non-refundable deposits..... It is because they know the boat will not be coming as soon they are saying. If they new they were getting boats in it wouldn't matter because they would sell them all very fast. This way they can keep someone on the hook for a longer period of time.

No way Yamaha is going to crank out all the orders across 4 different length boats and probably 1000+ preorders/orders and dealer requests they have across the U.S. dealers in the next couple few months, and that is just a guess. Their vendors and suppliers are having difficulty downstream. They haven't even caught up on the pre-orders dealers were taking 1.5 months ago. I guess it is just really hit or miss and that is realistic. Once the colder days come and people are not going outside I believe the COVID will spike and there will be issues again with people working.

I hope by some good fortune that the 25's start being made and shipping, can't wait to get a look at the AR250 personally, just to know.

As long as people understand that it is probably going to take a lot longer than what they are told, for the most part on average, than it will all work out in the end and the boat will eventually be in your hands. Patience is important.

Hello Jetboaters. I'm waiting to take delivery on my "pre-release" 2021 195S. It arrived at the deliver a week ago. We are waiting for the dealer to receive the trailer MCO/MSO from Yamaha. I'm told this is typical Yamaha. Have others seen these MCO/MSO delays, either recently or in the past? I'm annoyed that my boat sits on a trailer on their yard for over a week because Shoreland'r and Yamaha haven't figured out a method to move paperwork more efficiently in 2020.

Am am 1st in line for the AR195 at Cycle Springs
Hey what color did you put a deposit on cause I was told I was first in line as well at cycle springs for a 195
