212SE Shorelandr Boat Trailer

Yes on yours it would be the two lower ones.

The bunks stick out several inches, so there is room to move it back. If the axles need to be moved, Shorelandr and/or Yamaha is going to rectify that. Selling me an unsafe setup is negligent=Lawsuit
Dealer- checking it is part of delivery and setup

I would still confirm and validate anything the dealer does, since they didnt do it correctly in the first place. And tbh, some do not do the same level of thoroughness that I or you would do.

Moved the winch back 3 inches today. Tows so much better. Still have to winch the boat on the trailer. Will recheck the tongue weight tomorrow.

Ok so the weight would be helpful, is the back of the boat now even with the bunks?

@SCP1 Yes, hangs over maybe 1/4". I'll recheck the tongue weight when I get it on level ground.

After I check the tongue weight, I still have room for adjustment. After I moved it back, the bow roller squeaks like hell. I'm waiting on a custom roller, mine is too tight and doesn't move at all. I have the same set up as you. RP-446 with bottle caps. I like it.

Is yours twin engine? I was wondering if the tabs would interfere with the Cobra fins.
Yes twin, and that is all the way to the right, not even close.

No not really. I could of slid the trim tabs closer to the keel a couple inches, but it wouldnt of done much more

Just looked right now, my bunks come back 3.5” past the back of the boat!

@SCP1 unless your axles were moved or they set up your bunks wrong, you gotta be pretty heavy on the tongue weight.

Yeah I will have to adjust, as I cannot understand why you would have bunks not under the boat.

Could the bunks have been cut to long? Or those bunks were ment for a different trailor.

My assumption is they just have the front stand (the post with the winch) or whatever you call it too far forward.

Maybe they do that so the boats are shorter for shipping purposes. Who know.

It seems to be that almost all the 21's are shipped tongue heavy from the factory and too far forward. Not sure about the others.
