Added this to calendar. Yall picked a house yet? I will be camping most likely so wanted to find place on lake close to house.

a lot of us are bit "up in the air" if you would... i am busy with work and stuff.

hard to commit when things are bit unstable.

we will keep on looking but there is a wind creek state park you can camp on!

Hi All,

I’m a relatively new member to JB but am interested in the Lake Martin trip 15-17 Sep 2018. I’m about a 2 hr drive north to Lake Martin from Ozark, AL. Would probably just be a one day trip for me. Where does everyone launch from and meet up?

Looking forward to meeting more jet boaters.

Hello Jay! This thread was of last years gathering. For this year we have moved it up one month. Please check out 3rd annual Alabama Jetboaters Gathering ~ Lake Martin, AL ~ August 10th-12th 2018 and we hope to see you out there! Our base camp has a kind of sketchy launch but there is a public launch not far away that is fine although could use a steeper angle but it's totally fine to launch from. I don't know the name of it but I'm sure others will chime in.

Thanks for responding so quickly. I haven’t ever been to Lake Martin so am not familiar with it at all. Do you know the name of the marina/boat launch I could google for directions. Don’t know if I can make the Aug dates. But will do my best. Are you who I should contact if I can make those new dates?
