I have these weird water spots or some kind of spots that won’t come off… I got it like this when I bought it… any ideas ? It’s on the metal part of the window frame! Thanks in advance!! I have tried numerous soaps and cleaners… maybe someone has had this problem too..

I have seen similar things on cars and was covered up with a light oil like WD40. Is that trim paint or powder coat? The WD40 wont harm the surface or remove the water stains but will make them disappear for months at a time.

Powder coated.. I will give it a try and see how that works! Thanks

I have a bunch of powder coated aluminum frame garage doors that I hit with WD40 or a lock lubricant called Houdini to give them a shine and cover up splotchy and faded paint.

Anyone else have any ideas… it’s not the best picture… it’s actually much worse in certain areas… I just don’t know what to do… lol… most people won’t notice it… but it freaking bothers me ?

Powder coat over steel?
Trapped moisture will corrode the metal under the powder coat.

Since it's got a slight texture, (test this in an out of the way spot FIRST, if you try), get some of the liquid Barkeepers Friend. If it seems to work, but doesn't eliminate it completely, you could continue with the liquid, or move to the powder, making a wet paste of it.

Follow this guy on YouTube Drake’s detailing is a lot of chemicals he uses for water spots that work perfectly for what you need it for.

Got some better pics.. I started on one side and it seems to be working with the that stuff!! Appreciate the help yall!!
