Shelbyville? You got her to commit to Shelbyville and cant get her to commit to Bimini come on at @bronze_10 got put them selling shoes on my man lol. When I told my better half we were going up to a lake in Illinois in July this Summer She told me the only way she was going was if I took her the Bahamas in June first.

baby steps... first it was getting her to go on the Charleston run last mothers day... She was hesitant on doing all that traveling in two days.... On the Sunday morning she opens one eye while she is all snuggled up with out 8 year old daughter and says... best mothers day ever!!! so that got me into shelbyville.... So we are working our way up to Bahamas... the biggest thing is the expense for a family of five!! lol we gotta save for that one.. When we first got our boat we were eargely following along with the bimini tripers.. thats the year you guys lost two boats... we have gone over the reasons but she is still a little Leary.. Ill win her over!!! i have a doctorate in blondology!!!!!

Here's what we have so far. Hard to really count since some things are small items that could be stocking stuffers, but... we have about 126 toys so far - and I know more are coming in this week.

I believe you received one box from my family with a lot of small items today. Another is arriving tomorrow, a third on Wednesday and a final box with ten kites on Saturday.

We went for small items thinking they could be added to other presents if you have an abundance and help to make sure everyone gets something.

Here is the semi-final stash from last night. All of these have been inventoried, bagged, and loaded on the boat. We had a truckload of last minute gifts added from SantaCon - a bar crawl in Delray Beach - plus two bars in Delray and Boca. We've MET OUR GOAL!

The boat leaves in one hour - distribution is tomorrow night. Photos to follow as internet allows! Videos uploaded once we are home on Tuesday.

We could not thank you enough, JetBoaters! You definitely were instrumental in helping us reach our lofty toy goal!

Not sure if you are all on FB but here are some pictures from the distribution last Monday. We are still working on the video.

Honestly, if you guys had not contributed, I think about half of the children that came would not have left with a toy. So thank you so very much!

I would love to know if any of you are heading to Bimini this year - we'd love to meet up. If you are there, check Bimini Blue Water Marina for "Boondoggle" - say hi to Captain Ken - he's the mastermind (my dad) behind all of this. Ask Bobby, JR, or Big C if Boondoggle is in town and they'll tell you.

Hey guys, the Bimini Toy Drive is running short on toys this year. It is too late to ship anything so they are requesting PayPal contributions to toys that will be purchased locally. The Vander Werf's are paying for the fuel, maintenance and customs and immigration fees to deliver these toys to Bimini. I imagine those costs are in the low thousands on their own. I chipped in $100. Lets help them if we can.

The distribution boxes are being picked up and the toys are inventoried. They are ready to head to the boat! We have a big shopping trip planned for tomorrow since we did not meet our goal of 500 toys. We will need to purchase about 250 toys. At $5-10 per kid - that’s $1250-2500. We’ve been overwhelmed with the generosity of monetary donations - we have received an astounding $1375.00! Can we make it to $2000? This makes an average of 8.00 per child.

The boat leaves Friday! Distribution is Saturday. We'll be bringing the drone and a few extra helpers for photos. Can't wait to share them with you all!
