I bought a 2019 AR210 a few months ago and after some time researching and lurking here I was fully aware that a replacement bow roller would need to be the first mod. The dealer I bought from actually removed the stock plastic bow rollers and replaced on all the Yamahas they sold, so I thought I was in the clear. The bow roller they replaced it with is softer, but doesn't fit the hull shape of my boat well. The hull rest on the ends of the roller and pushes them down with no contact on the center section. It's not a stoltz roller but after looking at the stoltz recommendations it seems I'd still have the same problem. The 210 hull just doesn't have a deep v shape. I've found this shallower roller but wasn't sure if anyone has done something similar, or if this is too shallow.

It would probably work but I like a larger "v" to ensure the hull sits directly in center.

The problem with the V is that the hull around bow eye isn't V shaped.

When I replaced mine, I also didn't order the soft parts that go outside the frame. It hasn't affected the performance of thriller at all.

I have been using the boat buddy bow eye self locking bow catch for years. Was excellent you slowly drive the boat up to the trailer and it locks itself. I needed a new one and could not find it anywhere. I just installed a new product called ramp & clamp seems to be designed better 156 $ haven't tried it yet . You might want to check it out .
