Was looking to purchase a spare set of brake pads for my shorelander. I tried the shorelander site and put in my VIN for spare parts and it wasnt helpful. Trailer is a galvanized single axle for 19ft.

I took a picture of the caliper and it has Wurth 3158 stamped on it. The brake pads look identical to the ufp DB 35 pads. Attached pics of both if someone can confirm..

For clarification, they arent ufp calipers but look exactly like one and even appear to take the same brake pads.

The DB35 are brake best D925 organic pads. I believe this is the same number for Duralast.

I ordered the Brake Best D925. OReilly D925 Organic They do not work on my 2022 Shorelandr single axle trailer, actually got the boat/trailer June of 2021 so this is my 6th season in Charleston SC area. The flat bottom edge (edge closest to the hub) of the pad and backing plate do not allow for installation on the outer side of the rotor. See Pic for difference. They must be the rounded backing plate and pad like. Autozone MKD 766 Granted the 766s are ceramic which I feel would be fine as long as they are not semi-metallic.

Yes I know my rotor is gouged from metal on metal contact. The outer pad came apart the last time I took it out and I did not know until I got home. I'm not replacing it right now. I will orbital sand it with 80 grit and the new pads will bed in to the surface. I will get one more round out of them. The caliper compressed without much force. Bearings are good. I will say compress the caliper slowly or you will have a fountain of fluid at the tongue. And Brake fluid eats paint or any other finish for that matter.

Moral of the story... Not all 1998-2000 Kia Sephia front pads fit. They must have the curved/rounded backing plate and pad. I will also replace the pads every 3-4 seasons regardless of how much pad is left. I will replace the Rotor and hub assembly next round.
