Brand new Hull with bubbles, paint problem ???

I know its early but anyone seeing blistering on any of the 2024 models yet?

I could be mistaken but I believe it was a limited manufacturing run of the 2023 models (at least according to my dealer)

Well, there are documented cases of 2021-2023 boats affected, with the majority being the 2022 boats.
Question is whether they have fixed the problem now in 2024.
We will know once the 2024 boats get sufficient water time.

Hi, How is the repair holding up? Also, do you have any closer pictures of the bottom painting you can share?
Hard to say as the boat is in the water. Since it's been completely sanded down and painted with Interlux Micron CSC, I assume it's all good. Ask me again in October ?

Thanks. Did Yamaha warranty the repair?

Seems like a shitty deal to get Gelcoat repalced with just an antifouling bottom paint. Im hope they put an epoxy barrier first? Gelcoat is much more durable then paint.

I found bubbles today, a couple of them chipped. Waiting to hear back from the Yamaha warranty; 2023 195 FSH Sport

Has anyone had a experience after Yamaha’s repair?

Update on our Canadian 2022 AR195. Returned tthe boat to the dealer (3rd time) on October 10th. Dealership submitted current pics to Yamaha, and dealership tells me once approved, the boat will be shrink wrapped and shipped back the factory for repair. Not sure what this repair will entail, so I will be reaching out to the dealer this week for more details.
