Well well.

3rd compression test result.
180,180,180,190 back of the boat
180,180,180,190

Was there in person and this boat is super clean.

Put a deposit down with the seller until I can get a Marine Survey done on it (bank requirement)

Great! Hope it goes smooth and fast, at this point I can not imagine there would be any significant findings that would lead this boat not to appraise. The intake grate is a $50 part.

Congrats! Looks like a nice clean boat. But... is it supposed to two different types of reverse gates?

Good eye! Looks like the STRB is original, the PORT side must have been replaced.
The boat seems like it was very well taken care of by the PO.

I feel the same way, and I have had my boat for a couple months now.

Did you drive it from Florida to Cali in one day?

I am confused with all the drain plugs.

When on the water they all neeed to be plugged in?

Ski plug,
Engine compartment 3 plugs, two on the floor and one on the side.

There is also a drain from right where you open the engine hood. That goes outside to a white drain, but it has no plug there it just has rubber seal? Is that right?
This one attached. Needs no plug outside? I don't see any thread on it

That drains out. No plug needed. But look up scupper valve replacement. May be a good winter project

The water inlet is higher than the outlet, so gravity keeps the water out. Also, the flap keeps water from "back flowing"when slowing down.

If water gets in your boats deck, it will flow down that hose and into the ocean even if the outlet is under water.

Imagine a long pvc pipe above the water at the boat deck and below the water behind the boat. You could scoop the ocean water with a pail and dump it on the high point of the pipe above the water line and the ocean would take it. Water flow physics.
