[Cancelled] 2018 Starved Rock to Peoria Run, Sunday Oct 7

Please notice we have officially cancelled since the Weather will be horrible.

I am always interested but I don't know my schedule in time to commit until later.

Eric

Now that I have a boat this year I’d be down to attempt it.

Ok. Which of the following dates work for you guys?

Sat Oct 5th
Sun Oct 6th
Sat Oct 12th
Sun Oct 13th

Any is fine aside from Sunday the 6th, I’d have to be all the way home by 6pm that day. Seems unlikely.

Looking at it maybe I could do the 6th. This is only an hour drive away, looks like the trip would be done by 3 pm at latest if the schedule stays the same.

If I were going, I would vote for the 2nd weekend as I would be off work (and kids off school) for the following Monday. (Columbus Day).

But, right now, I doubt we’ll come up this year.

I’m not sure. When we went 2 years ago, it seems like we were back a lot closer to 5 if I remember right. Lunch took a long time with so many of us, and there was a decent wait for those that got gas after lunch. I’ve only been once, though. @OperationROL and @buckbuck may remember better.

The Saturday dates work best for me but I could probably make the Sunday dates work.

Let's aim for the 12th. Seems like that would work best for everyone.

The 12th may actually work out for me. The one time I went, it was close to dark by the time everyone got out of the water and pulled away from the ramp.

Eric

It looks like we will be able to make that Saturday work as well

Currently open on calendar so added in!
Whats the lunch situation down there?

Just did this run yesterday and made another post. Let me know if you need any info!

I created the 2019 thread.
