Deposit For 2021 Yamaha and still waiting?

Just spotted 2 new Yams heading south on I-65 in downtown Indianapolis on my way to work. Looks like a 19 on the back a 21 center console on the front
Where do the finished boats come out of?

Odd. Why would those boats be heading south in Indy if they came out of Tennessee?

Can't answer that, maybe it was a split delivery.

yah this is happening at our dealership in Dallas as well. There are several of the model I’m waiting on listed as ‘available’. I asked my sales guy about it and he said one of those was my boat and all the others were also reserved. If they could only change ‘available’ to ‘reserved’ that would clarify things a lot.

So I have my deposit on a AR210, but one thing that adds to frustration is I have started looking within a 3-4 hour radius for boats at other dealers. Their website list boats available ready to go with stock numbers, but when you call you are told they are all done for the 2021 year. Why do they continue to leave them on their sites. They no theses boats are so highly looked for yet they just leave the listings up. Very very frustrating. One dealer yesterday told me that he wishes the business would take them down because he is tired of receiving calls. Anyone else having this trend take place when searching other places or just me.

I bought my boat at the Indy dealer and my salesman said they sell boats all over the country. He even pointed out a new AR210 that was bound for Hawaii. Im betting other dealers do the same.

We put a deposit on an AR-190 in November 2020. Texas- Houston area. Still Waiting.

She’s all mine!!! Finished the walkthrough and paperwork today. Honestly amazed at the fit/finish - I was expecting disaster and went in with zero expectations based on some posts. Three minor items - 1. Front anchor ladder was missing a snap: 2. Wind door was too tight and they are adjusting it: 3. One cushion has a small cut (fixing it)

boat was pretty flawless otherwise.... can’t wait to get it in the water!

congrats! Great to hear

I put a deposit on a 212SE in Jan ‘21. Ship date was 3/15 (showed me their order/invoice system). Then it got pushed to 4/15, again showed me the order system. It’s now bumped to 4/27. We will see if it makes it out this month. I’m excited and anxious but I’d rather have them take the time to do it right and not just shove it out the door. That being said I HOPE they’re not shoving it out the door.

We put our deposit down in February for an AR210. No date so far when it will come in. We are now willing to drive anywhere in the US to purchase a 21 or 25ft if there’s any available. Contacted several dealers in the midwest and south but no hits.

Im not sure how accurate and true their ads are but they are north of Atlanta on Lake Lanier and one in Gainesville Fl. Maybe?

There have been some popping up - just be ready to jump on one. Buckeye I know is sold through and only taking deposits on 2022's with late fall estimated delivery - JD said like October earliest. I know @HangOutdoors dealer kept posting available boats - maybe they still have something?

Best bet is probably used - seeing a lot more used popping up in the last couple of weeks - certainly commanding a premium right now but if you want a boat it is supply/demand unfortunately. Best of luck in your look.

We made our original deposit in November with a local dealer (75 minutes away) for a boat the dealer ordered in Aug. We passed on 1 in NC in early Feb, because a couple of dealers had confirmed the allocation cuts were finished which gave us some confidence that our deposit was solid. About 5 weeks later we put a 2nd deposit down with a high volume dealer (10 hours away). So far crickets. Really hope we don't regret the Feb. pass.
