Deposit For 2021 Yamaha and still waiting?

Well my dealers Oklahoma just got his list of boats models to be cut for the remainder of the 2021 model year, which was 17 total from last weeks memo from Yamaha. Unfortunately he had to let me know that my AR210 was one of them. With that being said I am now moved to the #1 slot for a 2022. I hope the redesign and possible rumors do come true now for the 21ft line that I’ve read about in some other threads. It does suck to not get a boat this season but it is what it is.
Did you speak to blackbeard okc today you said?

Waiting on my sx195.

Thanks

No the GM at the Tulsa location. I spoke with him yesterday and he informed me that they would be receiving the list of cancelled boats this week and that he would call as soon as he had the information. He called me today about 10:30.

Will do. I just feel like a butt when I call. They never have any updated info. usually call every two weeks. But I just might call.

?? Hopefully you get better news then I did.

Called OKC. They had like 160 ordered. Got cut to 80 something a few months ago. Just lost 18 more boats and not sure how many wave runners yet. My boat was not cut. Got six boats in last week. AR195 was on trailer. Hopefully my sx195 will be on the next shipment.

I'm guessing they had two shipments. 21ft might have been on one and AR195 on the other.

If a 2021 boat gets cut, when do dealerships typically start getting shipments of 2022? Anyone want to venture a guess?

go over the boat with a fine tooth comb...look at my thread with all my 255xd issues
Holy crap dude. I read your whole post. I hope they get you all fixed up. But that crooked sea deck name plate! I swear when I get to my boat that the first thing I’m going to check. There is no fixing that, is there? I appreciate all the tips. I’m going to jiggle everything screed down and bring a level. Will send photos once I take delivery.

August I would say is a good starting point

seadek will need to be replaced. Believe me, im getting a new one to install. Ill leave this until i have one in my hands to do myself.

When you take delivery i need you to take some nozzle measurements for me to compare where your surfpointe is set. I dont think mine is set to spec still.

Will do. I‘m not even sure I’ll get my water test this week with the weather we have coming through out here and I won’t be ready to actually pick the boat up and bring her home until next week but I’ll get you measurements when I can.

Thanks bud, and if you got any questions hit me up...im getting real familiar with the ins and outs of this boat lol. Good luck, hope you dont have as many issues as i do, at least you will know where to look.

New to this forum but have been watching this very closely. I have an AR190 on deposit but it keeps getting pushed out but so far has not been cancelled.

Dealer says there are 8 coming in by 6/1 (continuously floating date) and I am #5 in line. However, they are getting an extra SX190 this week that is unaccounted for and I have the option to buy.

Wanted to get opinions on the main difference between the AR and SX and if I should risk waiting for the AR or not.

Tough call.... but I agree the tower will add tremendous value (resale for sure) and just looks so much cooler. Will you be devastated if the AR doesn’t come in and you get a 2022? If yes then maybe the guaranteed boat in hand should be considered. If you would be ok... I would wait on the AR. I have the AR250 and it’s an amazing boat.

Wow! Those figures put this whole thread in perspective. That's huge...

@Jbrest I would recommend waiting for the boat you want. Perhaps it cuts your boating season short this year. If you don't, and are anything like me, I would always be thinking about that I should of waited and a bunch of what if's. I don't know where you live and what your boating season looks like, but unless you have a very big compelling reason to settle on a different boat, or you don't really care as long as it is a boat, I would wait.

Remember you will be owning this for quite some time on average and you will also sink $1,000s of dollars and more than you thought you would in accessories, safety gear, watersports equipment, mods you should have and mods you feel you want. It never stops. So build up on the model you want. My advice FWIW.
