@Pinhacker71 I got the dagon for Father's day. Planning to install this weekend. Did you have to add any wire or was the wire that came on it long enough? If you added, was it anything special or just 16awg 4 conductor. Thanks!

If you have the remote, why do you need to open the engine compartment to do anything? Our remote works from pretty much anywhere near the boat (inside or out) and the remote receiver is located under the seat where the battery switch is located.
Came with app to use as Bluetooth remote with phone. App makers haven't updated app so it doesn't work. They sent me a remote as a temp fix. Has to be pointed to controller to work. They said I would have to buy a different Bluetooth controller to get Bluetooth until/if app maker updates it. Said they have sent out 600 remotes as temp fixed.
Hey Luckie_529,
What light did you end up getting with your adapter? Did the adapter and light fit behind your articulating keel? I'm thinking about getting an Electra and that adapter...
So I installed my blue sea fuse panel
The 1st item I'm powering off it the blue sea is my typhoon drain plug light.
I keep blowing fuses in the blue sea just trying to switch on the drain plug light? I've tried up to a 25amp fuse.
I'm not sure what the hell im doing wrong
after I said that I realized that if it were wire issue then the wire would likely burn up if you were already increase the fuse size. Glad you got it sorted.
I just got two adapters and 2 Blue Typhon drain plug lights and the wireless controller in the mail. Going to install this weekend, only thing I am on the fence about is how I am going to wire it to power. I assume since I have the inline switch(remote) I can just wire the lights directly to the battery? How did you guys wire yours?

@EmeryZ28 I just installed my Dagon RGB last week. I wired mine with a rocker switch inline that I mounted in the battery compartment with the resistor and controller. I just wanted the extra security that if my kids play with the remote I won't burn the thing up. I also added an inline fuse between the switch and battery.
And as a tip for anybody that's like me and doesn't want to pay $12 for a plastic rocker switch bracket, I bought one of these Simpson Strong Tie brackets for 60 cents and drilled a half inch hole in one leg. It works perfect to mount the switch in the battery compartment. I didn't take any pictures of the switch but the light install is below.
where did you get and what inline fuse did you use? mine did not come with one. Although it did come with these two white triangle chunks in the wiring, which I am a little confused about?
in this picture they are the two black triangular things?
and Immediately after I posted that, I realized I am most likely an idiot and I am sure those are just to make sure the wire doesn't fall too far out of the drain hole????

I'm not sure, maybe those are your controllers? You said you have a remote, so maybe those receive the signal. I just bought something like this inline blade fuse holder from autozone.
With the RGB I had to buy a separate controller so I just had raw wires on the end of my light. Not sure about those other pieces.
