My gas gauge is currently useless, due to ethanol, and its increased capacitance. I could recalibrate it and hope for stable ethanol levels in my area, and have to recalibrate if they change. Or replace it with either a float type sender or a new self calibrating capacitance sender. I am leaning towards replacement, and would like to know which one to get, they seem to be within $20 of each other so price is not really a concern, care more about accuracy and reliability.

Thanks in advance,
Andy

What type does Yamaha install in the newer boats? Did they ever make an official recommendation in a service bulletin or something?
