Maybe you could tell me a little about fishing @autism1024 . I haven't done any fishing since I was 12 so I need to learn about current equipment and bait so I can take my 4 year old grandson fishing this summer. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard @autism1024 ! Do you boat, or do any water activities? It seems that many kids with similar afflictions as you mentioned can be magically attracted to water. I find it fascinating as I am definitely very attracted to water myself.

yes sometimes when i get too go on someone's boat , i like fishing i love swimming but i cant swim good

One of my best friends can not swim. Well, he claims he can. But he needs a life vest. He was born in Bermuda, too, which is funny.

Hi @autism1024 and welcome. I also have a 14 year old son with autism, ADHD, OCD, social issues, etc, so I can relate. A lot of autistic people/kids feel more comfortable communicating over the computer or XBOX, because they have a hard time reading social cues, body language, facial expressions, etc, so it sort of levels the playing field for them.

Welcome @autism1024 ! I've never been to Michigan, but have always wanted to visit, my wife has some family out there. I too love the neoprene life vests, so much more than the older nylon style.
