Anyone installed one on a Yamaha boat? How were you able to run the cables in the hull? Thx.

That's a pretty sweet placement. Wonder how he ran the cable up into the hull? Drill a hole through the ride plate? I had about given up on the idea that I could make any transom mounted transducer work and was going to drill a 2" hole in my hull like the stock one was, just on the other side.

Look at all the pics, there is a 4 shot sequence including the hole, the grommet, and final exterior view. They should make him an admin on here. ;)

I did, and did again. Don't see a pic on how the transducer wire gets from under the ride plate to the top part of the hull.

I think I understand, you'd like to see how the wire is routed from the transducer and up to the hole in the hull then? Yes, I don't see that. It does look like there may be a gap in the ride plate to run it through. These other threads may be useful. Conversation seems more centered on how the transducer is attached than how the wire is routed though.

I've searched quite a bit, looked at those and they look familiar. So, there's a chance I've stumbled onto those the last few weeks while searching. Looked them over once more to see if I could gleam anything new.
