JetBoaters.net Bimini Fling July 10th to 15th 2017

I am not so sure about Cuba.
Please keep in mind that some of us look funny, have ascents and the Type I lifejackts might give the wrong vibe. I would love to visit Cuba, but I cannot risk staying at Cuantanamo Bay without a due date :nailbiting:

I did hear somebody mentioning Exuma 2018, though. My wife has watched Issac's video like 20-30 times, so I would love to tag along for that.

@Betik you all really need to stop watching these videos. Haven't you spent north of $60k already this year. Get ready to double your Bimini budget for the Exumas. I'm not sure how the accountant in you will justify that hahaha. In all seriousness, I can't wait to see if her perspective changes after Bimini when she realizes it's 6 times the distance to Exumas. You guys are going to have a blast.

Current bill $45,200. I am anticipating "one" cost $2,596, and the trip itself $7,765. Claire is a bit concern about the expenses. She said that she did not expect the extra cost and I said that she should have asked.......LOL
Technically I am still within budget from when I was originally approved to get Mr. Moose's boat.

The main problem though is that time I am spend on the forum and the research. That is what worries my accountant.

Having spent a lifetime of cruising as a family, the Captain finds "the crossing" as an adventure, the family crew mostly finds it to be something to be endured.
The Captain who wants to keep his family cruising with him/her, minimizes 'crossings' and maximizes adventure of being 'their'.
When the balance between the two is out, the Captain ends up alone or off the water.
Manage that with the bias towards longevity & joy for all. You will be happiest, the longest.

FRS Caribbean ferry service is having a sale now through Jan 22. Miami to Bimini is 50% off. I don't know much about this sale but it popped up and I figured that I would pass it on.

Am I the only one who gets excited when a new Bimini fling post goes up201602_0348_fccdb_sm.jpg

Definitely not.
My ipad sits infront of my work computer. I go to bed with my ipad and tuck it 6 inches from my pillow. Then when i wake up in the morning, i first look for alerts and then get off the bed.
I can bet that i am mor hours looked in here than I am on my work computer.

Big Game Club led their most recent ad with a picture of some of our boats from 2016!

This is nothing. Since he mentioned he would rather spend 200K on catamaran, I have been exploring that tangent. Very exhaustive on not knowing the different between port and staboard and trying to understand the andvantage/diagantage between monohauls and multihauls. I am like a zombie. I blame it all on Issac though.

I'm jonesing to get over there...got my high-speed wahoo rigs ready...hope to slay em like these boys did.

What kind of reels do you use with those?

I cant commit to going until after spring break..

Well that is still like 3-4 months before departure date right ?
