We are there next year....unless the world ends!! LOL
Helping Wil achieve his goal we weren't sure what was going on with him.
For those of you that know us from the trip or local. Wil was sworn into the Army this week and leaves July 10th. He did amazing on his entry test and was given a nice signing bonus and offered any mechanical position in the Army so Wil chose Aircraft Electrician. He will attend Boot Camp in Missouri, Ft. Leonard and then attend school at Ft. Eustis, Norfolk Va...not far from home!
@Bruce and gang - do we have a list of potential ferry-crossers? Do you have an opinion on how convenient/reliable would that be, if it's a viable option at all? Any chance there is a larger (substantially larger) boat crossing along that might take an extra female passenger (for a fee of course).
I'm leaning towards exploring various option for Kate. She does not want to fly a small plane, so looking for a boating solution without complicating things.
This crossing business has a way to affect marriages? or so I hear, lol.
FYI: The 3pm flight with silver airways seems to have 7 passengers from the group. One of them a former psychiatrist with a fear of flying. 2 very unrully kids and Korea chick who will be asking non stop questions. Maybe they can keep her distracted The 20 minutes of flight time ???

@tim h, is the closest to a substantially larger boat that may be crossing with us.
The Ferry would take Kate to Resorts World. You would need to boat up there to get her. The biggest complication that I see is getting her from Fort Lauderdale to Miami for the ferry ride.
As @Betik said, his family and @Amar Nanduri's are flying over. Having Kate join their families would be my preferred route to getting her off of your boat. Hopefully they can all have a late breakfast at Bahia Mar, which is very good by the way, then share transport to the airport. We will need to arrange transport from the South Bimini Airport to Bimini Sands once we are there.
@swatski last year @veedubtek flew over on a Seaplane that landed in the Bimini Channel I think that would be a cool experience once at least. Even better yet go ahead and book that for her tell her you got her a wonderfully charter plane out of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport and don't tell her it's a Seaplane I bet her excitement once she arrived in Bimini could do wonders for a marriage.
Hey guys, it is official. I will NOT be going this year to bimini. It has little to do with finances and everything to do with my mental and physical preparedness since my stroke. I still have to repair the fuel hatch. I still haven't pulled the boat out of the garage. Tower still isn't on . Both jobs are in crazy busy mode and i just started working again this past week. I have all the odds and ends to do here at home. My wife had a friend just move in down the street and we moved her in this weekend. Etc. Etc. List goes on buy you all better have awesome pictures for me!
