@Mainah, here are some amateur reef fishing videos, not instructional, just an idea of what you might catch

Tuna Alley in 2015

Turtle Rocks in 2017

The big catch of 2016

Big Game Club in 2017.

And don't forget to ask @MrMoose and @Kevin Sargent about the barracuda!

@Sbrown
Are you going on both trips ??

This is the JULY thread, but you are registered for the JUNE trip ??

Yes, I am registered for the June trip, but so is @AndyD. I figured if he posted here it would be more appropriate to reply here. Or are June trippers not allowed in the July thread? If not, then I apologize and one of the admins can feel free to delete my posts.

I was just wondering which trip you were going to be on....

No sweat on my end; I was just worried I committed a faux pas.

You can post where you want when you want. I know you are going on in June, so post away.

Bruce you have the best videos!
I need to find the dolphins this year! Was the only thing I was sad I missed !

Dolphins, sharks, sting rays and starfish are the main goals for my kids and us!

Three of those are easy but the quadfecta is hard.

I'm guessing the dolphins will be the hardest, but the kids have little interest in things like the Sapona wreck and really just love wildlife! Snorkel gear for all of them was purchased when we thought we were going last year, so we gotta make sure it all fits this year, but they will absolutely be thrilled with any little fish they see! The joys of small children!

The Sapona is full of wildlife.

And rusty sharp things? We will be visiting it, I think it would be a shame not too, but my little ones aren't jumping!

Same here. We'll visit and swim/snorkel, but we won't be getting on the Sapona. If you get hurt, it is a miserable 55 miles back to Miami...

@Speedling, @Berrie 90% of the Sapona experience is snorkeling through the hull looking at the coral and fish inside and out. Very few will climb up for the jump. It is a difficult climb with real risk of injury if you fell while climbing. The snorkeling is a great experience that you should have on a low wind day. She is a short distance from Bimini Sands and always a great show.

Was that ladder someone had put up still on the outside of the Sapona last year? That was much safer then climbing that darn rope in the engine room that thing was a death trap if you fell.

I had no idea that the term " holding for dear life" had its source from Bimini.

I got $20 on @Berrie that he climbs like Rambo. No need support from his legs, just upper body strength.

@Betik is that a dare? LOL

Hell, I was kinda looking forward to the sketchy rope climb.
