I live in a relatively quite neighborhood where many are my age (retired) and quite honestly all they do is sit on their duff. Well today I decided to wake up the neighborhood so I rode up and down the canals with my music on loud playing songs from Rusted Root, Grateful dead, Sanatana etc. I got to say I love loud music but so sure others appreciated it as I got a lot of funny looks. As always say life is to short not to have fun. [flag]

I like loud music also.....so everyone that is within 1000 feet of my boat better also....LOL

When we upgraded from the AR190 to the 212X, the stereo was definitely an influence on our choice for the 212X.... we knew we wanted a bit of a better stereo, but the awesome sound and the ability to control from the helm and the water has been WAYYYYY more valuable than we expected!

I like good music, and like it loud too..., and having the music while moving on the water is one thing, But I really think it is rude when you pull into an area where alot of boats are anchored and one boat is SO loud, everybody has to listen to their music! And MANY times it is music that is totally inappropriate for families! I may be impressed by the sound system, but not impressed by the lack of good taste and consideration for others!

How come the guy who likes heavy metal / hard rock never parks near me with the loud stereo? :(

Last year we were anchored out with several other boats. A houseboat with what looked like a whole slew of kids and a family or two were parked a good 100 yards away. Eventually, a couple of our kids floated over and started engaging with their kids. They offered to let our kids jump off (or use the slide - I forget which) on the condition that we turned our music UP. @jcyamaharider swiveled one of his tower speakers directly toward them and was happy to oblige. lol

Folks going a little pontoon boat crazy during the lockdown.
