Hello fellow Captains!

I am very interested in purchasing some Lectrotab short Actuator 9x16 tabs with the MLC-1 Control unit but want to see if we can get a group buy going.

Don't tell Lectrotab but I am looking at shooting for not 10% or even 15% but a whopping 20% or more off the currently (known) price of these kits.

But if this is going to happen, We will need to impress them with the number of committed buyers.

So if you want your Yammie to slice through the waves like a hot knife through butter instead of bobbing up and slamming down at speed in even the smallest of wakes, then let your voice be heard by chiming in with a Yes! I want some of "dem" blasted trim tabs everyone is talking about and don't care if I have to put a hundred holes in my expensive boat to get 'em!

I created a Group Buy thread on the Group Buy forum with all the information you need to start ordering.
I just placed my order to get things rolling (hoping for the $598 price).

Here is the link 2020 Lectrotab Trim Tab Group Buy Link

For anyone considering this purchase - it is one of the best mods for our boats, imho.

Just bought some ...

Just talked to Dan at LectroTab (Linear Devices Corporation) and they are interested in working out a Group buy for us!

I would be interested, but only if the price were "can't not do it" low.

do you get installation by @Betik included ??

what's the normal cost of doing this @gthh since we have the same boat ?

@Scottintexas I would estimate around $800 (no discount) with the above mentioned configuration. Higher if you go full auto controller. But the consensus on the Forum seems to be the MLC-1 controller is fine for our boats.

@Sbrown That is the objective!
But keep in mind the guys have to make a living so it can't be a "stupid price".
20% off for me, would be a "got to do it now" price.

Just talked to Russ at Lectrotab-The deal is brewing and it's starting to look sweet!

They will probably do the usual Jetboater's group buy deal.

The more committed buyers, the greater the discount up to the maximum that make business sense for them.

They are working it out now and will probably be able to announce a deal Monday or early next week.

They will probably set a standard price on the configuration I mentioned above with adders for the ALC-1 and any different tab configurations.

Russ said the 9 x 16 Tabs and the short actuators (28' cable) will fit the majority of the Yamaha models and years, which agrees with what I have been reading in the Forum.

So, please show Lectrotab, how many of us want this deal and respond to this thread!

Thanks Everyone-I'm already drilling my tab mounting holes! (just kidding)

I’m in if the price is right other wise I might be in jeopardy.

Yes if DFW ; but Betik is currently in a bunker on an undisclosed location.

The lectrotab folks are real nice people and I have not seen anyone regret having the tabs installed. I would not try to milk those guys.

I’m interested too
