Snapped a couple more while getting ready for this year's maiden voyage. 20140413_092206.jpg20140413_092148.jpg

We took our first boat ride of the year this past weekend and the new audio system lived up to my expectations and then some. Let me just say that I debated on going with HLCD towers speakers due to their cost. I originally planned to use something like Fusion, JL or Rockford's on the tower. We boat the ICW and usually pull up to our favorite sandbar to enjoy most of the day. I wanted to be able to hear our music cleanly from the beach and not make the amps/speakers work so hard. With the changing tides, sometimes the boat is 20ft away from us and sometimes its 70-80. We also have to contend with a decent wind noise and sometimes waves from the passing boats. I think if we were in a lake or a cove, we could have gotten by with "normal" tower speakers, but these Exiles just carve through the air with no effort. They were expensive, but so glad I bit the bullet and went with them.

My $45 chinese ebay steering wheel upgrade.20140501_102930.jpg

Nice, Where did you order the wheel from ?

Where's the NOS button? :D j/k Looks good and comfortable.

That vent is so awesome!! And to see it though the build was so cool! Thanks for sharing all this!

Nice, Where did you order the wheel from ?

Ordered it off of ebay. I bought a similar one for our old boat and it worked out great. I think I just searched "red steering wheel". No adapter needed.....the bolt pattern on both of mine were perfect.

20140309_223654.jpg 20140309_223723.jpg 20140331_155152.jpg So like I said earlier or in another thread.....when I bought my AR240, the graphics were peeling so I pulled them off. I didn't really want to go back with the factory star graphics.....not that I didn't like them, but they are $500-$600. If I am going to spend that, I could just try to do something custom. Sat down one evening a drew something out and me and my graphics guy have been work in on it. I dont want an entire wrap, just something somewhat mild to separate the colors. Anyone have any suggestions? The last pic is a mock up of what we have so far.

My 3D registration numbers came in today as well. Hard to tell, but they are white with a chrome outline. 20140501_221900.jpg

Nice Job!!!

I like your graphic mockup so far. Classy.
