Does this mean it could possibly be ready for the weekend?

gettin' it done! @Boat Crazy I don't know if he put gas in and started it, I'm assuming yes. I'm not bugging him, he just keeps sending me pictures. @scot71 I'm hoping to be on the lake for a test run before the weekend. I went out for a cruise with @trace and christy today, it was good to meet them and felt great to be on the water.fiberglass sanded.JPG hole patch.JPG

@MutherTucker was on our boat when she got that last pic from her mechanic. You should have seen her face light up when she saw it. That Gal is beyond ready for her boat to be functional.

Coming right along Renee, he's getting it done for sure!!

Anyone know where I can find the paint color code for the white gel coat on my boat model?

iboats.com has all of the colors and labeled for the years of the boats.

FINALLY, The light at the end of this very dark tunnel. So excited for you!

Got to love it when a plan comes together. @MutherTucker It will be great to see you and your family on your boat at Shelbyville. I think you will be easy to find. Just look for a smile from one side of the boat to the other. Thanks for sharing your saga with us.

with no more update hopefully you are out enjoying your boat with a leak free tank

@MutherTucker is at the raft up in Shelbyville enjoying her boat, that is the reason she probably hasn't responded yet. Runs like a top!!

awesome, glad to hear she can finally enjoy it after all the headache

Well, here it is! The Muther Tucker gets wet for the first time this summer and what better time to do it than at a huge forum gathering! So many of you came up to introduce yourselves and I felt like I already knew you as we have gone through this gas tank saga together for almost a year.

A few thanks need to happen.

First, I thank all of you for your advice and words of encouragement. I may have gone crazy if it weren't for my "forum peeps" as I like to call you.

Second, @itsdgm sparked the idea of using a later model tank like that of which was in his boat. He sent me photos that were so helpful and it ended up being the exact same tank as mine. That's the tank model I eventually ordered.

Finally, many thanks to @sstegh and @OperationROL for laying my Sea Dek down at the Shelbyville Gathering Sea Dek Demonstration. I'm glad I could help by handing you tape and the pencil, lol. I purchased my Sea Dek through @JetBoatPilot and I LOVE IT!!!!

Ok, I have two good months left until the midwest weather kills my boating vibe.

Awesome...Have you been paying slip rent this whole time too?

So glad it's finally done, who would have thought it could take almost a year. Geeze.

Enjoy it!!

Saw it in person and you would really never know! Seadeck was the perfect solution to hiding it all too!

Congrats @MutherTucker glad to see that your fuel tank issues are finally over. The Sea Deck looks great!!! I'm sure you were a bit of a JB.net "celebrity" at that gathering!!! Looks like everybody wanted to jump in and give you a hand. What a great crew we have here ;)
