Need a new fuel tank!

What a saga. I join everyone in celebrating that the cutting of the deck was not in vein. That would have been bad. It is always good when you locate the problem definitively and have a plan to fix it. You are most of the way there.

Don't worry. It will be in the water soon and you will lose its nickname soon enough.

This makes me want to pull my unit out and measure it.

Great news @MutherTucker! At least now you know that big hole you currently have in your boat wasn't done in vain. Here's to a quick fix and a great summer on the water. :winkingthumbsup"

at least you can finally enjoy your boat without it being a floating fireball

Yes, you should all pull out your units and measure. You don't want it to hit bottom!:smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin:

and waiting.......

Hang in there!

;( Feeling your pain. Hoping for success real soon!!!

This is horrible!!!

Ok, primal scream on the count of three. 1 - 2 ...

oh yeah. I called to check on the status.....no status. I'm at 30 days since ordering, they said 60 max!

So, in the meantime I bought 2 SUPS
3 new fenders
a new anchor and line
some bungee dock/raft lines
all new trailer tires including a spare to be welded on
ordered my Sea Dek kit (brushed gray with border) from jetboatpilot.....which is back logged 2 weeks, not that I'm in a rush.
aaaaaaand now I'm broke.

Going to detail the outside of the gutted girl, put her name decal on and reattach a side tower speaker that had an unfortunate fallout with my slip beam (don't judge, I'm new, don't have fins, back it in and was alone.)

Keeping busy. :nailbiting::banghead:

There should be a stamp on the tank with the brand name and size. In 90 minutes or less I bet you could track down the supplier and have one shipped out within 2 days. These should be standard tanks readily available to you verses going through the Yamaha red tape.
