Need help with remote wire issue

I just bought a 2013 ar192 and want to wire a powered sub. It has the stock clarion deck and I can see the blue and white stripe rem cable but it runs to another harness. Can I just splice the rem cable with a crimp? However, the rem from the back of the clarion deck may just go into that harness not out the other side to nowhere! Not sure and will check that when I am back at the boat…
