This is exactly what I do. I tried this year leaving them only partly threaded in over winter after fogging, enough to close up the hole, but not enough that there could by any issue removing them.Do a search lots of opinions on that topic, I always do , but I never use a torque wrench when installing the new plugs ,tight and then add 1/4 to 1/3rd turn.
