NYC Gathering 9/30/17 (Possibly 10/1???)

As long as we are under way at 10:30a from Patsy's we should be to the meeting point @ 11:15-11:30 latest. We can call you in a.m. once all the captains arrive and firm up the ETA. If you get under way at the same time I believe we should get there around the same time. You have a bit further to go, but we have a brief no wake zone under / around the TappanZee that should even us out.

I was just looking at the website for liberty state park and the boat launch there is closed because of the president's cup. I'm sure there will be extra security around the statute.

It looks like the marina is still open and most areas of the park are open, so maybe it won't be too bad. I'd like to get close to the statue for my wife and kids to see.

I will. We'll be launching at around 9 am. Send me a text when you guys arrive, just a quick heads up, my friend that is coming along has to be back to his car around noon, I will plan accordingly, I may not be able to do the whole planned trip, but at least I'll meet a few fellow jet boaters.

Just like I knew it would happen. My buddy and his wife bailed out, that was the only reason my wife was going, she's scared of the water, as soon as our friends cancelled this morning she said she wasn't going. I can't go by myself. Sorry guys, I was looking forward to it, be safe, have fun.

Unfortunately Sunday didn’t work for us. We are gonna stay in the Potomac River today. We could plan for a day at the Potomac River in DC Maryland, Virginia areas next season. Have fun guys and post pictures!!!
