One picture of your last outing.

We are just starting in the surfing world it makes it much easier to start out to the side of the boat at the edge of the wave rather than directly behind the boat where all the jetwash is at... At least until we get some hours under us and more comfortable to use a longer tow point above the canopy and move to the pocket on our own...
Interesting. Is that a zup board? Are you using ballast?

Yes the kids are training on the zup as it’s much easier to practice the balance without worrying about the rope; and we did the same before picking up the Connelly Ride from Academy on an end of season deal it’s 5’2” and was a deal I couldn’t pass up.

As for ballast we were 100% surf side 50% non-surf side & 100% in ski locker... However I realized that the bag in the locker has a considerable sized hole in it for the first time as we never had a need to test the ballast before this month... So I’ve got to contact our local dealer to see if they’ll warranty it or give me push back like they have in the past on another issue?... It lost probably 40% capacity in an hours use.

Yet another quiet little cove on Norris Lake. Then after dinner, a little sunset cruise with the mrs.

Finally got out on my brand new 2020 AR190 today that I bought shortly after seeing it for a second time at the Miami Boat in February. I took delivery in late June and parked it at home until today. I had a ball with this little jet boat out in the Chesapeake Bay, Patapsco River and Rock Creek. I was very happy that I got out of and back in to my marina with very little drama. A little sideways on my return close to the dock but moving very slow so big deal.

Very comfortable for just me and my wife and would be perfect for a family of four or five I think. I kept it slow, staying within the engine break in guidelines. Handling was much better than I thought it would be so the jury is still out regarding fins. The key, for me, to operating this boat well is practice. Anyway, another great day on the water and I’m very happy with my new Yamaha.65E3CE1E-B5A1-4A37-8ED8-34C3A29B706A.jpegD9548A1B-B0B0-4917-A125-99543C98EDCA.jpeg84215E51-5DD1-45D4-8F86-4F675B9590DB.jpeg11380B2C-BFAE-4F90-88EC-656F2E321FB6.jpegCA0100F9-E50A-4114-8009-0B6B9D7CE0C9.jpeg2F5F6F81-F039-465B-A650-6D228B80C2DC.jpeg54987630-3AEF-4E2C-96FE-24290EFA0BB1.jpeg
