Hello fellowe boaters. Finally got some time and decent weather to take out my FSH out for the very FIRST time and by myself Sat. Nov. 21. Weather was cold at 50 degrees warming up to 72 by days end. Pulled up to boat docking area and around to side, staging area, and started preperations. Followed my rountine I learned from this Forum thank you all. All went seamlessly and backed into the lake. Unhooked and grabbed hold of my dock line. Took the time necessary to change stock to Stoltz Bow Roller two minute change out time. Walked the boat back and secured to dock poles and went to park my truck and trailer. Walking back to dock this man approched me and told me he needed my help and pointed to dock. His dock line came loose and boat floated out by then about 80 yards and going. I said hope On. Remenber my FIRST time, boy was i nervous as i aproached his boat ( one of those Nitro machine). Superised myself handleing that ordeal.
Spent four hours out running the boat for 2.8 hours. about 25 minutes of wake speed, some cruising, some moving on staying below the 5000rpm dealer said to keep it under for the first 10 hours. What a GREAT day this was.
I did have trouble trying to load onto trailer and got it done after first try failed and next two had to circle out and back into. Will need to remember and get used to the fact their is NO steering if you throttle OFF. Got it now.

After loading the boat opening drain and jet pump plugs trailed out of dock area, found a good site to pull into and clean the boat, cut off both batteries and main switch. Stowed away bumpers, lines, and whatever. Put the cover back on and headed back to storage location stopping at gas station to fill up (used 10 gallons this day). Recieved alot of compliments on my boat. Go On-Call tomorrow so lets see what kind of weather December brings this year.

Sadly this is as close to the water and boating as I am going to get this weekend but my wife loved the Oak Ridge Boys Christmas concert so it is all good.View attachment 137522

Some friends spent the last 10 days with us here on the Big Island. Took them out on the boat for a night snorkel with manta rays. Here are a few captures from the gopro video I took.VideoCapture_20201122-202933.jpgVideoCapture_20201122-203158.jpgVideoCapture_20201122-203418.jpgVideoCapture_20201122-203456.jpgVideoCapture_20201122-203505.jpgVideoCapture_20201122-203857.jpg

Last trip of the season was a cold one but still a good time at Lake Mohave. Just about the only ones on the water this time of year, nice and quiet.

Technically not my last outing but second last. But - who's counting.
