Not like they did 4 years ago. We tube wake board and ski with out any troubles. There are still people that hunt them and use pontoons to get them to jump. We called them our IL dolphins because they would jump out of the rolls in the back waters like dolphins do.
A few pics from my last outing this season Shasta lake on Labor Day weekend.
Stayed at Bridge Bay Resort just off the freeway, it has its own exit.
Main dock.
Boat ramp, one of two
Guest slips.
114 steps to the top where the hotel rooms are.
The only fish we caught all weekend.
An unusual warning.
Sunset on day one.
Just before launching at beautiful Lake Mitchell (Coosa River). Got to see a C-130 swoop by the tree tops and dipped real close on the water. Guess some fly boy's were having a fun day!
Was a relaxing Sunday before the storms started to roll in. Enjoyed it while it lasted
Another fun day on the water. Got some tubing in, little time at a local beach which is a great hangout for boats and fun (and has nice soft sand to pull up on which is a bonus), hung out at our pool, then I spent 2 hours at the boatel cleaning it up so it will be all ready for next weekends adventure (while my girls took a 2 hour nap) Was a great weekend with beautiful weather!
