One picture of your last outing.

Well, went to the boat to do some winter maintenance but still found a way to have fun on the water. Would have been a great day to take it out! 1704046722375.jpeg

One from our September trip to Lake Powell. A few miles upstream from Bullfrog Marina.

My son with the biggest fish he’s ever caught. 22lb Striper. I was surprised it weighed that much but we have a new Berkeley digital scale that disappointed us on a couple other fish so I guess it’s really 22. Lake Lanier, GA. 2/3/24
Cheers

Kind of an outing, sorta. Went to the JAX boat show couple weekends ago and some words were said, and some numbers were thrown around. I remember signing something, maybe and suddenly I have a new boat! Finally got to water test it this week and WOW what a difference from the TR-1 in the sx-210. I don't know how much different it was from the 1.8, but the new one definitely sounds better and quieter to my ears. Maybe just more pleasant of a motor sound. I didn't take any pictures during the test itself as I was so busy but hear are a couple before and after. The layout of this boat just feels so much better. Cannot wait to take it out, for anything, fishing, tubing, drifting.

Now I need to modify my boat shed a bit as the rocket launchers just barely will not fit. :banghead:IMG_9933.jpegIMG_3632.jpeg

That’s one hell of a “shed”… 100% envious
That first pic was at the dealer before water test. My shed is about the most redneck thing you could have over a boat. Just a galvanized pipe frame with used billboard material tarp over the top. Works for me for now and I can cover it with having to worry about tenting poles! With the torrential rains we get here, that was my least favorite part of boat ownership. I need to make about 3 inches of space which shouldn’t be too hard with this kind of ‘structure’.

Ohhhhh.... I see that now. Redneck or not, It works...would give anything to be able to park mine under one of those at my house but Oh God nooooo, the HOA would have a mental break down. There is ZERO covered storage in my county so my baby sits outside uncovered...

Love that color on boats...Looks great. congrats @Beachcampin

Congrats on the new boat! Dig the color! The boat show got me last year and I don't regret it!

Let’s bring this back to the top of the forum. 1st outing of the year, 3rd season with the 252X and this makes my 9th year as a jet boat owner.

Lucky! we still have some slight ice here in the NE section of PA, but the wrap came off the boat this weekend and cleaning will start this week, we plan on being in the water within a week or two! Weather permitting, fingers crossed. If not I will have very angry 5 year old, she's been asking for about a month now, ever since the snow started to melt.

We usually boat to lunch but yesterday’s outing, our first this season we ate at the marina before we launched and explored the other side of Discovery Bay, CA (aka Discovey Bay West/new and sometimes very affluent). IMG_4836.jpegIMG_4808.jpegIMG_7243.jpeg
