One picture of your last outing.

First run of the "summer" for me. Took her out for a quick shake down after changing plugs and checking all systems before the real fun begins. Had a quick stop for lunch at Whiskey Joe's on the Manatee River.

Classic Whiskey Joes.. I always got there at low tide and had to swing in on the sand.

The current was pushing!
Oh yeah, this was my first and last time at Anclote. Took a nice scratch from the dock on my boat, and a screw in the truck tire.. nice area though :p

Those don't look like Johnsonville Brats

- Disapproving From Wisconsin ?

They are not! Those are ball park brought by my friend along with the zero carb tortillas and cheese. A very tasty and hot lunch! It was a beauty day on the lake, my friend caught the trifecta of trout, Laker, Rainbow, and German Brown. We had another Laker on that was really big, it was taking line off of a Shimano Tekota that had its drag just shy of maxed out before it got off… very exciting.

Boating day #7 2024.

first outing of the year yesterday...breezy day on lake grapevine.

installed 2nd amp a month ago and thought all was good. not wired to new amp, but no sound out of stbd bow speaker. the main cabin sounds really good tho, doubled power to sub.

no pic, but put new shoes (carlisle radial trail hd) on trailer....short trip and hard to compare, but they feel less 'springy?' than the orig carlisle bias tires.

Finally got to make a run to our favorite spot. Second Creek on Wheeler Lake.

First time out for the season. Called in sick to work due to it being 82 degrees out and sunny. This was also my first time to ever solo launch and recover the boat by myself. Everything went really smoothly. Also was the first time towing with the “new to me”Audi Q7. Glad I got the APR stage 1 tube installed. Pulled like a freight train.

Location was the Susquehanna River adjacent to Peach Bottom nuclear power plant near Delta PA.

Yesterday's outing was the 30 second ride from our ramp to my lift. The exciting part was bringing the boat out of my garage, 90 degree turn, and down the driveway. There should be a warning on my mirror that says "big sharp rocks in mirror are closer than they appear".

Looks good from my house!

One of the goals for this year was to find something to help the wife learn how to back up the boat a lot better, but I don't think the wireless camera would do anything to help her with those walls you've got there. I've shown her some of my more difficult docks I've had to back into, but I'd bet she would say those rocks would terrify her even more than some of the dropoffs she's seen me maneuver!

Did the landscaper throw in some gelcoat patch with his quote? ?

So you put in at Dorsey Park Ramp? We go there a lot and it never seems to be crowded. How were the ramps - any debris? See any bald eagles - we see them every time we've been there. Conowingo is one of my favorite places to go boating - you just need to watch out for floating logs after storms and early in the season. Down by the dam it tends to collect even more so be careful if you venture down that far. Next time we're there I'll keep an eye out for that beautiful new blue boat.

I put a front hitch on last fall. Pushing the boat up the hill and around the corner is WAY easier.
