When we don't have the camper with us I tow the boat with our Ram 2500 with a Cummins. Little bit overkill but I love my truck.

When we take the camper and boat my wife tows the boat with her 4Runner. Does a pretty good job. Hills definitely slow it down but its manageable

I love my Cummins, its overkill for my AR240 also. There is nothing like having the power and ability to tow my boat anywhere. I really like the wheels and tires that you are running. What size and offset are they? I will be upgrading mine when I get back from my deployment next year. Thinking about sticking with the 18's but may up to 20's . Also, what size are the tires? I am looking at the Toyo Open Country RT since I don't tow anything heavier than my boat.

I am lucky and the longest I have ever had to tow this is 2 miles from the launch to my garage and that is only twice a year. I actually purchased it from a marina who was between the 2 locations -- so I cannot provide any feedback about how well or poorly she goes

They are Helo 879 +18mm offset, 5.71 inches backspacing. I went from 265/70/17 to a 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grappler. Look aggressive but are still pretty nice on the street. Just a very very small hum that you wouldnt notice unless you were looking for it. They come out to be just over 34" tall

I am ordering a Set of fox 2.0 rears to take the bed bounce away. The bounce is not as bad as my 2015 was. I will put a pic of the truck and boat up tomorrow as we will be at the lake tomorrow. Looks like rain all weekend though.

About halfway home from a 1200 mile trip with the boat in tow, the bride turned to me and asked if maybe we needed a more powerful truck. Yes, dear, we sure do. As luck would have it, the local dealer had this on order and it was delivered the week we returned from our trip.

Get you some starbrite hull cleaner and clean the hull. I bet you will pick up 5 mph.

I traded my 2011 Titan in for a Ram 2500 6.4. A bit overkill for my little Chaparral, but we're also looking at RV's. A year later Nissan comes out with the new Titans. I think they did a great job with the looks of them.

Indeed -- my boat sits in the water all summer -- I rarely take it out (service or an occasional change of lake) -- so mid season and Kate season pics get pretty crummy. It does not look like that before the season.

This was the first time I hooked up, I raised it a few inches so it's level now. Was also my first time towing anything or even driving a boat. Everything went OK with just myself and wife figuring it out.

2015 power stroke: deleted, all bolt on's stock turbo, stock height w/fox suspension, beefy sway bars, 35's, and traction bars waiting to go on.

This was the most thumbs up I've ever had in one day!
