Show us your tow rigs!

We were fresh out of the water and I decided to take advantage of the empty road to Wahweap (unusually)!
The window was open so Kate could yell at me, lol.

Our trip schedule is totally random, great idea for a thread and sharing notes! We have already learned a thing or two on this trip.

I agree. A thread like that would be super helpful. Maybe hard to make an FAQ out of, but the collective information would be good for certain.

We do the same thing with the center window when launching/retrieving. I open the back window in the cab of the truck and Shelly yells if she needs anything.

I freaking love this truck, it is kind of like a Yamaha, jack of all trades!
2017 Toyota LC200

Tows like a mule. Ample power, even passing at 7,000ft elevation (Flagstaff). Seats eight. It's like an AR240 of SUVs, lol.

How’d it pull?
It did really good, I just adjusted my driving style when it came to the hills, but overall I'm satisfied. I used to tow with 2018 Nissan Titan and it towed the boat with ease.

2005 2500 burb with 8.1L gas guzzler and 4.0 rear end. Tows my 28’ enclosed trailer with race car and gear like a champ, and of course the less stressful toy my yami 242.

My wife’s version is a 2019 Chevy Traverse Redline. My GMC Canyon didn’t fit enough people because my two kids always want to bring friends. The 3rd row in the Traverse solved that problem. Now the boat holds all of our luggage on our trips. 0EDE7AD9-413C-4621-9623-59C57A4F6C7D.jpeg

Looks good! Great to see another crew from PA!

Don't see many of those 2500 'burbs anymore. Quite the setup with that giant gas engine under the hood. Even more rare are the 2500 Avalanche's. They didn't make many of them, and the single digit fuel economy keeps most from buying them used. Great platform though!

Wow yea never knew they made those! It is depressing seeing 6-8mpg towing race car long distances, especially coming from an x5d that got 18mpg towing (with open trailer).
