2018 4Runner. 3” lift. Fuel 20” Wheels. Airbags installed in the rear.

I pulled the AR210 for about 3 hours along a highway with rolling hills and was very pleased how it performed. I kept it out of 5th gear and it easily cruised along at 100km/h (~60 mph).
Obviously she doesn’t tow like an F350 Diesel, but she towed the boat just fine.

I launch and recover my 242x with my 2014 4runner. I dont drive 96mph but climbs out of a slippery launch with ease.

Typo? 100km/h = ~62mph. If you're towing your boat 96mph I sure hope you put some nice radials on that trailer... lol!

First started with a 2015 BMW X5 which I changed for the 2019 model last year. Rated for 6500 lbs I think, no issues at all.

Its my daily driver, not just for towing.

100km/h = 62mi/h
96mi/h = 154km/h

Surely you weren't towing at 96mph?!?! :eek::eek:
The faster you go down the highway, the more time on the lake right! LOL. Ya I was multi-tasking when I posted this and clearly not doing a good job of it. I meant about 100 km/h or 60 mph.

I mean I get it. Just felt pretty impressive to see a 4-Runner with a 210 at nearly 100mph :D

I asked the question awhile back "Why do you guys tow so fast anyway"......and got a resounding "To get there sooner; DUH!" from about 15 people.

I have a F-150 but your 4Runner looks awesome!

Purchased a 19 Ranger few weeks back. Just have to say it pulls as good or better than my previous 09 Tundra 5.7 or 17 F-150 2.7. The only issue is need a good tow mirror while pulling this fat ass Yamaha! Lol

I was very curious how your ranger with 270
HP and about 3500lb tow rating was "the same" as your tundra with 381 HP and 11,500 tow rating. I see you have a 19ft boat. With a jet drive and engine, no transmission, no out drive, no engine block to speak of and a single axle trailer its gotta be easy towing and even manual adjust when garaging or backing into its storage spot.

What did you cover your lower bumper with? Thats not the trd with black grill valence and lower bumper blacked out.

Pretty sure the Ranger can be optioned up to a 7,000 lb capacity for towing. Looked into one, but in the end I couldn’t bring myself to moving away from the F150. I’ve done over 250,000 miles in the past 4 1/2 years, it feels too comfortable to switch.

My Ranger is equipped with the tow package and is rated up to 7500#. The Ranger pulls my boat as well as the Tundra on the hiway and doesn’t require the frequency of stops to fill up the tank. Tundra pulled the boat like it wasn’t there as does the Ranger. I feel the Ranger pulls a little better than my 2.7 did. The F150 was larger and comfortable but I’m good with the Ranger.
