Something looks awry with your bimini top. 99% certain they aren't supposed to sit like that. Mine has straps to hold it to the tower if you don't want to remove it for trailering.

Yeah, thanks. We were not done getting the boat ready so we did not travel with it in that position.

Picked this up today.
Our 2019 Traverse 3.6l v6 AWD RS LT3 pulled the 212s good. But not great. 3AE8732D-33BE-4FA3-B7D3-55BC125A2992.jpegTraded her in for this big girl. 2016 Tahoe LTZ can’t wait till April so I can hook her up with her 212s

Having owned both a Yukon and a Traverse......I can confidently say you'll enjoy the towing experience Far far better in the Tahoe.

Sharp truck. Congrats!

Towards the tail end of the summer I upgraded from a 2013 Chevy Tahoe to a 2019 Ford F350 with the 6.7l. It's great to be back in a diesel after a 7 year hiatus. The Tahoe has been a great family rig but the MasterCraft fully loaded w/ trailer weighs in at 7,000 lbs and has started to take it's toll on the Tahoe's transmission.

My neighbor is taking with a dealer in the ozarks right now on that same boat. I’ve got a 2020 212s. He’s not a Yamaha guy. Pros and con from the jetboat to the mastercraft. I know the mastercraft of boats.

Congrats, that’s the exact set I am looking at. That’s sharp. What’s it going to pull ?
Thanks I’m loving the truck, I have a 2020 AR195. I had a 2010 big horn 1500 previously and I’m sure this will be night and day difference for towing.

We traded in my wife's 2012 Tundra SR5 Crewmax for this 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. We optioned it with the 3.0L Duramax engine and tow mirrors. It's a pretty awesome package. 277HP and 460 ft-lb torque. So far she's averaging ~24 mpg with roughly 150 miles on the dial compared to the ~13 of her Tundra.

Before (Bottom) and after (top) adding a 2" leveling kit, 20" Fuel Sledge wheels and 33" Goodyear Druatrac tires. She'll tow the boat with this while I tow the RV. Looking forward to putting it to work.

Don't those only have like a 9k lb tow rating. I was trying to do the online configurator thing and regardless what I did with an AT4 it had a max rating of 9k lbs. I think the diesel it actually had a lower rating. I was like WTF, man? Not like your boat weighs 9k lbs, just was shocked as my little ecoboost has a tow rating of 13k lbs.

Yes, the tow rating is only 9k for some reason. It's all we need. But there are many half tons with higher ratings. The diesel is 300-400lb lower than the 5.3L and 6.2L options. The max tow package gets up to the 13,400lb, but that includes a different axle and axle ratio that's not available on the little Duramax. I'm guessing the gear ratio of the 3.42 axle might be the issue. It might be less efficient coupled with the lower RPM range of the diesel. For instance, the max torque of the diesel engine is produced at 1,500 RPM vs the 6.2L 4,100 RPM.. just a guess?

Effing AWESOME!!!
I'm so envious of the diesel powerplant. so much better for towing, as long as you can manage the exhaust nonsensical mods...- and their unwanted side effects.
As far as any worries about tow ratings?? you have got to be kidding... these trucks are absolute f....cking beasts.
RIP @dansx230ho trailered construction equipment with his two duramax trucks, I think one can manage a yamaha jet boat in tow, lololol.

Different Duromax. There is a big differences between them.

yeah shouldn't be an issue. Just was surprised it was so low.
