Stereo Comm Error

Checked that head unit was receiving power.

I'm having a very similar issue...how did you check that the head unit was receiving power? Multi-meter on the connectors coming from the boat?

Anybody has updates on this? My 2016 limited S E gave the stereo comm error. Canged the remote for a new one and still gives it, funny thing is it still gives it when I disconnect the remote and also when I completley disconnect the radio! Cleaned every electric connector on the stern, check fuses and everyhting looks ok. Its driving me crazy no being able to find a solution!

There’s a lot more info in this thread

IMO this whole issue is due to improper power supply to the head unit.
and it’s very difficult to diagnose since the head unit has no visible indicators whether it’s powered on or not.

but just noticed you have a 2016. Im not sure you have the Pa4a that most of these threads are related to?

Yes, it has a Pa4a. Thanks for the heads upon the power supply, i'll check it this weekend!
