After a round of really bad t-storms overnight, we had a beautiful 75 degree day here in Chattanooga. Took the boat out to put another couple hours on it while we're in the break in period. I don't put my kids faces on the internet but I got a shot of them enjoying the sunshine. We drove it up the lake and had dinner at a marina restaurant and then headed back. I put up a few pics for ya, here's hoping we all get warm boating weather sooner rather than later!

New SeaDek piece from JBP for the step through. Color is a good match, but not really the pattern, even though the Vortex has actual SeaDek but it has small bumps and a wider pattern than the stuff from JBP. Still going to order one more larger piece to complete this step through area.

You're not biased, that's gorgeous! Our favorite lake here in TN is Douglas, you have the Smokies as a backdrop to the whole lake. There's also Watauga, Cherokee, and South Holston in that area. Beautiful area of East Tennessee.

Yup! We hit 75 here just Southeast of you a bit and I couldn’t resist. Loaded up the kids and hit Lanier for the first time. Great afternoon hanging in a cove on 4 Mile Island.

Nice! This might be the only time we have on the lake without the crowds :) We're going to Lanier for a week in mid-July, we plan on boating during the weekdays and just hanging out on the weekend as I'm sure it will be busy.

There were very few boats in the water yesterday. I was surprised.

How could you leave out Norris, shame on you sir!

Meanwhile we either have heavily flooded lakes, tornado ravaged lakes or pollen filled lakes here :(

Oh there are more Tennessee lakes that are beautiful for sure...but I was specifically talking about the ones in the upper east corner. We have to keep some things a secret ya know!

I want to hit up Norris or Dale Hollow lakes sometime. Maybe this year or next we may take a week vacation there with the boat.
