The Brand New 2017 Yamaha AR195 and SX195

New here and to Yamaha, I have started the process on buying a 2017 SX195 and should be picking it up in 2 weeks if all goes well.
Anything a new jet boat owner should be aware of ?,
I currently have a 95 Crown line that I bought new so am not new to boating itself. I also have a 97 Kawasaki 750 twin jet ski.

I got the full 3 year warranty thats going on with the boat show and thanks to what I have read here I will hit them up for the shipping cover as well.
Wondering what all comes the the Yamaha starter pack ?

Thanks for any help.

Congrats... starter pack...:IMG_0786.PNG

Hey thanks for that, I will see about getting that thrown into the deal looks like a nice kit.

Make sure and get pic on here when you get your jet home...

Ask for the black mooring cover also. I got mine thrown in at no cost. They shipped it straight to my house.

And ask for an anchor!

It is nice that some dealers will throw in accessories to close the sale. I didn't have such luck. I was willing to buy accessories from the dealer on the day of purchase if they would offer a discount, they declined so I bought what I needed from Overton's. I even had to pay for a fire extinguisher. There aren't any other dealers within 200 miles so my dealer doesn't see a need to negotiate.

I live 15 minutes from a Yamaha dealer and they didn't want to throw anything in. That's why I waited for the boat show to purchase. I ended up buying from a dealer 2 hour away but it was worth the drive. The dealer is located on the NJ bay so it gives me a place to boat if I ever need to drive there.

Thanks for the heads up I will ask for that as well, might not get it all but Iam going to try..lol

I went with 4 and cut it down a bit
Thanks, I just purchased mine at the boat show and getting everything ready once I pick it up from the dealer. The tower speakers just got installed next it's headed off for a custom wrap then hopefully Gatorstep depending how the budgets looking. Also, Dan thanks for the info about the Starter Pack, I asked about it when I purchases mine and got it thrown in for free also.

Dang, I am so envious.... mama only let me buy the boat... no goodies yet... you must show pics when wrap is completed..
Also include component list for your sounds for future wish list..
Good job getting the starter pack (goodies bag) thrown in...

I think a wrap is such a cool idea, you can change it when you get tired of it. Would be great if you can post mor einfo on your experience, such as the quality, price and ease of maintenance down the road!

COngratulations! That boat is a pretty awesome.

Which Bow Roller did you go with, the 3.5 or cut down the 4?
Still waiting on delivery on my 2017 AR 195 (Black & Yellow). On page #8 of this thread a memeber reported to me that the 3.5" Stolts Bow roller with bells for a Yamaha Jet Boat with Shoreland'r trailer was the best fit. P.T # RP-355.

The wrap package looks sweet. try and save the original decals if you can as they are very expensive to purchase later on if you want to revert back.

I won't pick up my new sx 195 until spring but thanks to you all, I'll be ready91E53548-ED78-4509-8109-3FC87E2E0FF2.JPG

Stereo wouldn't seek or BT... Bimini worked great at speed.. Stowing Bimini a pain but that's about it for negatives.... So much storage room on this boat..:winkingthumbsup":winkingthumbsup":winkingthumbsup":winkingthumbsup":winkingthumbsup"
Did you ever get the blutooth to work on the stereo? I took my new ar 195 out on Saturday and I couldn't get the BT to pair up to my phone either. Also my clean plug wouldn't lock into place. Have you had any trouble with your clean out plug?
