I've never watched Rogan. What I've heard is that he spreads lots of misinformation. Regardless of political party that sucks

You never watched any Joe Rogan Podcast. But you come on here and spread misinformation about him. I have watched many Joe Rogan Podcasts. He has had hundreds of people on his show. Elon musk was the most fascinating and the craziest thing I have ever saw was when he had Alex Jones on.

That would be like me saying I heard you suck as a doctor because I heard about you from my cousins hairdresser.

Maybe watch something before disparaging someone. Just a thought.

That's exactly why I said my disclaimer. What I know about him is what I've read about what he says. I have no desire to consume his product.

I did fuck up your cousins hair dresser's lungs tho...

Man, y'all are super wound up lately.

He's in your face,....but speaks hard truth. He smoked that Gupta dude. And asked him directly how it feels to be a physician that has to work for a network which spreads lies and mis-information.

It is comical to me that people obtain medical advice from anyone in the media, especially comedians.

So many my comedian is better than your entertainer posts today.

Even funnier is getting medical information from Jetboater Fleet Admirals. Pretty comical also.

There you go again. No ones getting medical advice from Joe Rogan. We are however getting a true account about how CNN brashly lied and mis-represented Joe Rogan as using "Horse Medicine, repeatedly.

The facts of the situation were Joe Rogan's physician prescribed him HUMAN Ivermectin for off label use. It worked, and they can't stand it because it does not fit their narrative.

So if you think a doctor prescribing a medicine is somehow comical, what does that say about you.
Especially after the fact that it works my friend, just like hydroxy works. Of course you wont talk about how the AMA had to finally come out and admit that one too.................
Funny how all these networks never made official retractions after all their nasty commentary.
Also weird how everyone wants to discredit any treatments, from meds which already exist, have great safety records, and wont make anyone a billionaire.

@Tgen2013 I believe you are confused.

Just two weeks ago the AMA wrote "Reporting on unproven and potentially dangerous treatments for this virus, including ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine and other treatments that have not been scientifically validated, confuses the public and puts lives at even greater risk."

As far as HCQ working, comedian Rogan took monoclonal antibodies, with strong evidence of benefit, which certainly confounds any claim of benefit for any other "treatment".

It’s naive to say no one is getting medical advice from him with the size and nature of his audience. Maybe you aren’t but many people are absolutely getting medical advice from him and worse sources. This forum does not represent the “average” American just by nature of the expensive toy that brought us to the site.

It’s super weird how so many people will believe that we just lucked out and had a cure sitting on the shelf for a brand new disease no one had ever seen before, and even weirder that the existing cure isn’t used or designed to treat viruses at all. What luck, like historic, unheard of, win powerball twice luck!

In addition to Monoclonal Antibodies he also took some Z-pak and Ivermectin (the human kind you get prescribed). The same that won a Nobel prize for treating other diseases. To this day many of the media dolts still have misinformation plastered on their website, videos etc saying OMG Joe Rogan took an unproven concoction of horse dewormer lol. Like these idiots at NPR lol....

I don’t watch JR pod casts. I do catch some of his clips from time to time if it pops up on my YT. Dude is certainly out there but I like that he isn’t afraid to speak his mind and hold people accountable for lying.

Congrats Joe, I barely remembered who you were before all this. Now, everyone is talking about you. The reality is about 98% of people like him would get better without doing anything. But he also took antibodies which do work. So his recovery was almost assured and says little about the effectiveness of any other treatment. Nothing to see here.

Azithromycin (an antibiotic that kills bacteria and has mild anti-inflammatory properties) and ivermectin (an antiparasitic) have no proven role in therapy for Sars CoV2. Monoclonals do. Which one worked? Come on guys. Don't be naive.

One funny thing. Monoclonal Antibodies are produced in a lab engineered to focus on the virus spike and are under emergency authorization. Not sure why someone concerned about the vaccine wouldn't be concerned about Monoclonal Antibodies. Maybe when your pretty sick things get real.

Could be a combo of all for all we know. Unfortunately we will never know because it’s clear the media (and others) are hell bent on distorting any kind of alternatives other than the jab.

'I did my research' often ends when you find yourself infected.

That's the thing, we will know. Because people are studying it. And the data are the data. The reality is that even the proponents of these meds have have suboptimal data to support their claims. When / if they produce good data, most of us will support the use of these medicines.

Funny how you need a photo ID for a shot but don’t need one to vote!

Respectfully, you note that no one is getting medical advice from Joe Rogan, but then state that he took Ivermectin and it worked (for Covid). For the third time, here is a post to the FDA webpage, Why You Should Not Use Ivermectin to Treat or Prevent COVID-19. Currently available data do not show ivermectin is effective against COVID-19.

A physical prescribing Ivermectin for Covid-19, especially at this time, is unethical. Please understand that just because a doctor can prescribe a medicine for an off label use, does NOT mean it is beneficial to the patient and may not be harmful to the patient. A doctor could prescribe Viagra to a patient for Covid, off label. There are some medications that are common prescribed off-label for a disease treatment, especially when there are small patient populations, and the drug sponsor does not want to pursue additional labeling claims. Ivermectin, for Covid, however, is not one of these drugs.

Ivermectin, is a wonderful drug. It has been a hugely successful treatment, for man and animal, for the diseases it is labeled for. :winkingthumbsup"
