I consider myself fairly reserved as well but I really like the “11” Interior, since you don’t have a ton of blue on the exterior, the extra blue on the interior is a nice touch.
Here's another build using platinum gel coat on the cockpit interior and keeping a lot of the main upholstery panels light graphite to tie it in and then bring in large panels of pacific blue to bring in the exterior gel color. Thoughts?

I’m not sure how hot it gets in your neck of the woods but I currently have the same color gray GatorStep flooring in my boat and when it’s over the mid 90’s I have to spray it down with water so I would imagine the seats would be hot as well. I always see these outrageous color schemes and dark color seats which look nice but totally impractical.
The light graphite isn’t dark in person or as dark as it looks on the website. I just got off the phone with the dealer on his thoughts and he said the dark graphite while looks great is too hot to enjoy here in the south. Darkest he would suggest would be the light graphite which is what I used in those last build pics. I have about the same color seadek throughout my boat and it’s not too bad but using seadek as a gauge for temp color might not 1:1 since completely different materials. I have white seats now and just trying to keep white to a minimum for cleaning and less bland looking.
I’m glad I put down the deposit yesterday when I did! He said they sold a couple of Makai, Craz and Max build slots last night and he only has 1 Max slot available for someone for the rest of the year otherwise he will have to see if another dealer hasn’t filled their slot and would give it to that customer. I can’t remember how many boats he said they build each year for each model but it’s not a lot so I’m glad I got in when I did!
The NXT just didn't tickle my belly as good as Moomba did. They are nice boats but being a crossover diamond hull boat it’s not going to be great at any one specific water sport, which is appealing for some people buying a tow boat. Kind of like a Yamaha jack of all trades master of none kind of none kind of thing. They remind me of a Yamaha in some regards in the cockpit styling and thought behind the design, only they are v drive and obviously a higher quality build than jet boats. In some areas it feels like MC studied what Yamaha owners like and made a boat for anyone moving to a entry level wake boat or considering it at the least. I considered them at one time but after doing a bit of digging into them and how the wave is, I just didn’t get the same impression of wave capability when really sacked out and the interior just didn’t do it for me. If you’re not looking for a great wake or wake and just want something that’s decent all around wake boat I’m sure they are great boats to own.
Oh I would agree - those NXT MC are very plain vanilla in comparison with more pricey models but at $62k - she definitely has a "tickle me" factor if you ask me! lolol
But then again, I've the AR not an X! The NXT we played with last summer was a 22, and it is a LARGE boat in comparison to a 240 Yamaha, the hull of the 20 in your pics I bet is longer then the 240. But you right the NXT is somewhat plain. Still way more "solid" feel that the Yamaha.
I just don't get the Yamaha pricing strategy, really - can they compete with a $60k Mastercrafts?
My decision to get a Yamaha notwithstanding, being on a river and with the way I do things and trailering etc.etc. But for 90% of recreational/family boaters who are on a lake I think one would need to be a serious "Yamaha head" to pay 20k more for a 242X the same size as a MC NXT...
I agree @swatski . One of the local Yamaha jet boat owners on our Alabama Facebook page switched over to the NXT22 last fall and says he loves it. He came from a 212X and says it's no comparison. I think they are a nice blend between an outgoing jet boat owner and someone not wanting a full on or hardcore wake boat but more of a Swiss Army knife crossover type boat that would probably be fine with all but the most devoted. Even if the NXT is plain Jane like you said it makes it really hard to appreciate the Yamaha boats as their prices creep into and beyond a much nicer wake boat. This trend will only get worse for Yamaha as their prices continue to rise while wake boat manufacturers continue to look for ways to bring their entry level prices lower to be more attractive. This doesn't affect all potential jet boat owners but rather just those who are also a bit more serious about getting a good wake and wave and have the depth in their lake for a prop to not be a factor.
I think I'm going to skip shopping for dry rack storage at a large marina on bigger waters. I keep seeing diesel fumes being brought up that it leaves a nasty film and layer on the entire boat, cover and/or interior. As much as I love the idea of being able to call and have my boat ready, it also makes me equally nervous something bad would happen lol. The ability to drive a small car and save gas to go boating is very attractive though!! I found a few places nearby that do climate controlled indoor storage and I think I may go that route, at least for the first year or so. That way the boat can be relatively close to my home and it allows me the flexibility to go pick the boat up and head to any lake I want or go work on it and do maintence/upgrades. Decisions decisions!

I brought in a little bit of white to have 3 colors on the inside. Thoughts?
Here's another build with white rub rail. Never had one of those before! I wished they had a blue/green interior vinyl or welt to match the ultra blue flake.
Can't decide on the dark graphite or light graphite panels ...
Ugh this is getting harder I think and i'm running out of ideas lol. I kind of like Captain Blue under the Brittany Blue Flake with white top and cockpit.
Whatever you get it is going to be awesome. If it were me, and I liked blue as much as you appear to, I think I'd go with the dark blue but with the white hull bottom. It's such a tall boat that having that contrast helps visually lengthen the boat and deemphasizes the height.
I think the metal flake reminds me too much of a bass boat.
I played around on the site and liked the Captain Blue main panel, white hull and accent, and black Moomba decal. It’s a sharp enough boat by itself that I think classic colors like that are all it needs, my .02.
IMO the flake looks more pronounced on the website renders than in person. It really depends on the light hitting it. In the shade it’s hardly noticeable but once the light hits it then it really pops but not overly like a bass boat which seems like they put in 3x as much flake. I guess it’s all in preference but I’m a sucker for flake on a sunny day. It looks amazing in the water IMO! Here’s some examples below in different lighting and angles to give you a better more realistic idea how it looks.
Found a nice looking climate controlled indoor storage that’s 24 minutes from my house. They charge $5 per foot which would put me at around $130 a month. They have power and water available for free. What are you guys paying?
$1,500 a year sounds like a good deal for climate controlled storage.
I’ve been looking for an investment property that has a pole barn on site that I could use for boat storage while renting out the house.
I have a friend who does something similar and ends up making money to store his toys.
