It's a Wahoo. They are beautiful fish. We limited out on red snapper and caught a little tuna and a 6 foot hammer head.

Picture number 3 is why I don't allow fishing on our boat. How did you ever get that clean?
The SeaDek cleans up really easy. I have bio-friendly soap on board with just a microfiber cloth! That fish got gaffed in the gill and basically bled out right there!

I do usually filet them up and into the cooler right away. I don't carry a 5 foot long cooler on board!

Do you normally run that far out? Whats the fuel situation look like when you get back?
I have gone up to 50 miles off shore. I avg 2 mpg. Usually carry extra fuel in 5 gallon cans.

We were planning to go out 60 miles but weather was not cooperating.

How do you secure the cans? This the style of fuel jugs that I have.

I usually ratchet strap a few in the bow on the floor and then a few on the swim deck.
I've found adding weight in the bow will help cut through the waves instead of slapping the face of the wave. Just gotta be careful to not take water over the bow.

Sure you do, some rubes call it a "ski locker", I guess they use it for something other than fish.
Ya, that is full of fishing poles, gaffe, net - but mostly fishing poles! Good idea though.
