What are your thoughts on the Sea-Doo Switch Pontoon Jet Boat?

......... because it has mounts for hooks molded into it?

Surely someone has reverse engineered it, and offers an STL or other 3D printable adapter for that system. If not, it's an opportunity missed.

Here's another Switch video.

Picture of the hull around 3:45.

This advertisement on SeaDoo's instagram account is hilarious. I swear they should give the marketing people a raise.

built in trim tabs? nice

Didn't realize there is a camper canvas with the double bimini. That's a weekend excursion vessel now. Take it somewhere like Dale Hollow, Cumberland, or the like and you could reasonably expect to stay on the water all weekend. Just need a couple coolers, a grill, and some sleeping bags with that enclosure.

That is what I was thinking once I saw the full enclosure, took it to a new level.

They add an integrated wake kit and ballast and it will fly off the shelves :) lol Needs aftermarket fins

Great video

I’m thinking if it parks like a JetSki being able to have reverse in your hand so easily it won’t be needed

Buy stock in Sea Doo now fellas. This thing might look ridiculous at first, but it is gonna take off. Less weight, adaptable, jet drive, enclosure, no rotting wood or rusting metal. I personally prefer my Yamaha, but this is gonna be big. My opinion.

Letting this sit for a day... I agree.

I LOVED my spark. Plastic panels were awesome, damage something? Oh well replace it eventually. Super light, super fuel efficient. Braking and reverse will make driving this super easy. I may pick one up to rent out.

Couple of pics of the hull and deck from their website:

For the clowning on it I have been doing, it is kind of growing on me

What a disgusting looking “boat.” Sea doo will be out of the boating business again in 3 years.

That thing is going to be a hit. Yeah I don't like the look of it as far as a boat goes, but my family would love the functionality and openness it offers. Its all about how they would use it, not how it looks.

the jetoon is a paradigm shift in boating. They won’t be able to keep them in stock.

(once they get around to redesigning the helm for a steering wheel)

If the camper shell can accommodate a few hammocks it would make a great bunk house for overflow guests at the lake house.
