I will. I'm sure it will perform as advertised but ill give it an honest review. The two things that are supposed to be great about this thing are; you can go in a straight line and it really cleans up the wave. So if it does those two things then all will be right with the boating world. We shall see.

I can attest that it will do both as you stated above. Happy wake surfing.

@Dave P - I hope you like it Jerry worked really hard to get yours made after work sorry it wouldn't get to you by friday trust me I looked and it was almost $200 to next day it to you when you don't have a company discount on shipping rates. I can tell you I was a pretty bad sufer before and never stayed up even with rope but a few minutes. But with the wedge the first time I stayed up it was for a long time I didn't know what to do and my legs started to burn. That's when I started to actually figure things out of how to stand on the board and feel like I am actually accomplishing something ! So after staying up for long periods of time I was able to start throwing the rope in and doing what I need to do to stay going ! Oh and my new Shred Stix board is pretty cool too ! My good time just turned AWESOME !

Went out with Jerry and Mark yesterday to test on my 242 and all I can say is WOW!! The wake was clean and huge. It was waist high and I am 5'11" 280lbs and was able to go rope less! I have 1400lbs of built in ballast (only used 1000lbs. Didn't use non-surf side bag) and 2-400lbs bags I put on the seat. They brought a 750lbs and that is all that we used to get that wake. We had the 750 on the surf side with one 400 on the back seat and the other on the swim platform. The only other time I was able to rope less was on my cousins new Malibu and I think the wake was just as good with a lot less money spent!!! I know Jerry took a lot of video with his GoPro so I am sure he will put some of the video up. I cant wait till they get a couple small changes done so I can get mine and surf every weekend! Never thought I was going to be able to get a clean wake and go rope less and was thinking of selling the boat to buy a different boat but we are keeping our boat now! Want to say thanks for Mark and Jerry on coming up with a great product!

If I follow you correctly, you had app 2100 lbs of ballast?

@jcyamaharider @sx210owner , how much ballast do you guys think a person would have to run to get a usable wave in a 240 series boat with your wedge? Also where would be the most effective placement in your opinions from the testing you've done? Sorry but I've read so much conflicting info about how much ballast and where to put that my I'm more confused now than I was to begin with. We're looking at setting our boat up this winter and I'm trying to get an idea of how much I'll have to invest to get a surf able wave. Our kids love to surf but we have no ballast as of yet or wedge.

We had about 2550 of ballast plus one person in boat besides driver.

@Craig I have had over 3000lbs of ballast between bags and people in my boat and was unable to go ropeless. Once we put the wedge on I went ropeless with less weight. When we where testing we think a big improvement was putting a 400lbs bag on the rear swim seat. We then had 400lbs next to the motor behind the batteries, 750lbs on the port side seat, and 400lbs on the rear seat along with 600lbs bag in the ski locker. Here is a few pictures of the bag placement. We had a 500lbs bag on the floor but Jerry and I where talking and really don't think it helped much. In fact one if the fittings came out and we lost a lot of the water and it didn't change the wake.

Thats a lot of ballast. You shouldn't need that much. Maybe 1600-1700 tops. I have a 212x with two built in stock bags. They hold about 600 each but really it's like 500 each when their full. They go under the seats all the way to the back of the boat. Then I have two 350lb Straight Line bags . I put one under the seat next to the batteries on the port side. This fills up this storage compartment. I still have one bag left so I could either put it down the middle of the boat or on the seat on the port side closest to the surfer. JC told me with my new wedge that is all the ballast I will need. Don't buy anything yet. I'll let you know.

We seam to find the larger boats like more weight , you don't need that much weight , but the more weight the bigger the wave !!! We had less weight and the wave looked good and was surf able , but it's fun to amp it up !!!!

We had a 600 pound bag in the locker, one 400 beside the engine on the port side and a 750 fat Sac on the port seat. This created a surfable rope less wave. Mark is right more just gets a better wake. The boat has to list over.

Put that one on the surf side seat Dave. You will get a fantastic wake!!!

This is crazy, sorry guys but I couldn't take up my passenger space like this. We always have anywhere from 4-10 people every trip out. I have to have most of my seating for passengers. To be honest if I have to add so much weight that the port side is under water at idle I won't be doing this. I would think that you would take water in through the rubrail like that?

This I can do minus the bag in the seat, could you put it in the ski locker instead?

If you have people weight then you don't need the bag. Remember we are doing this test with ONE passenger in the boat.

Also you can sit on the bag, that is my favorite seat...lol
