Our last outing of 2017. 80 Degrees F on a mid-September Saturday in Wisconsin? You don't get many of those. I am IN! Let's go boating!

We spent the day on Lake Poygan swimming and munching. Normally you have to stay out of the water to stay warm this time of year. Saturday we were staying IN the water to stay cool. (The air was 80+ but the water was 69.)

We were treated to this on the way home:

It was a "weak" season with only 4 outings. It was also an "odd" season - none of those 4 trips were made with a "full" crew.

It will only get more "odd" as the kids get older I suppose. It's that kind of thing that makes you wonder how much longer you'll decide to keep it. Still, there's nothing like it.

Today, after work. Nothing beats getting out on the water.

The entry into the Hoover Dam channel - it just opens up like a narrow passage in a rock wall

Went to the beach yesterday then for a long drive in the ocean since it was calm. Then saw my favorite boat, Pershing 74. So massive in person and just a beautiful design. His wake and spray he throws up when he guns it is just unbelievable.

Another great day on the boat yesterday. Went to the beach. My daughters friends met us at the beach and they had some nice little waves to boogie board and then had a blast dancing on the swim platform listening to music :) Might have been the last hot weekend for us as next weekend is showing 71-72 degrees. Was Mid to upper 80's all weekend and we had a blast on maybe the last warm weekend in the boat!

Pirates Cove!!! It's about 30-45 minutes up the river from Lake Havasu. In the summer it would be packed with boats and 110 degrees, but in September it's 90 degrees and we've got the whole beach to ourselves!! Gotta Love it!! We'll be doing it again next weekend.IMG_0331.JPG

Today for a cruise up the Trent river

The Standard for dinner... View attachment 64610
Where did you order your black Bimini from? Also is it black or charcoal? Your boat originally came with the tan correct? I'm looking to change mine to a black or charcoal too; I think it looks better than the tan IMO.
